Foresight sports GCquad is the pinnacle of golf simulators.

I believe the GC Quad is the go to for home Sim. I never hear good things about radar and putting. I got started with Skytrak and knew very fast I would love the sim life so after a couple of years I was going to move to GCquad but then found and tested the uneekor eye xo and went that way. I have zero regret its amazing. Unless you have a need to take the sim with you then back to GCquad.
The quad is trash - you have to flip flop it every two seconds if you have left handed friends- the simulator courses are worse than dog shit- the amount of metrics they use for launch data is 1/4 the data points trackman uses- and worst of all- you have to put metallic stickers on your clubs and ball - foresight is a hard pass-
Sticker on the ball is a trackman thing. Gchawk would take care of the lefty/righty issue. Rct balls were made for high swing speed players who were getting estimated spin numbers.
The golfcourse i play at, has a big red button you just press, and it boots everything up. The projector, the pc, the game. Everything. Press 1 button and you are ready to go. It's so nice. Same goes for shutting down, press it once and everything shuts down.

You can get an Alexa smart switch to do a lot of that. I have the Uneekor and I just say "Alexa, it's golf time." She turns the lights where it needs to be, starts the computer (power on switch), Starts the projector, ect.
How does the Alexa power on the computer????
Set the projector to power on when receive a signal (that way the computer turning on will turn on the projector) I think for Epson it's Direct Power on.
Wonder if you can run a cat 6 cable from your computer to your trackman to alleviate some of you pain in terms of set-up? Also, do you shut down your trackman after each use? I tend to keep mine in place and plugged in with a cat 6 cable permanently through the winter.
what does the cat 6 cable do?
@@LandonAshworthDirects it eliminates the need to connect your TrackMan to your computer via wifi. This will save you a step in your set-up.
You can! Met with trackman yesterday and it would help with latency too

@@Thryvetogether FullSwing should NOT be on your radar... They sent me one- it almost burned down my condo-- their course renderings look worse than Nintendo 64.. Trackman is the ONLY one you should consider.

Yep! Absolute BEST software on the planet and I’ve played every single simulator that exists
Can you still use the simulator as a home theater? Or the home theater is behind the simulator and you just lift the screen
