we did that horrendous drive a few years ago from middlesbrough to perran sands. to be honest i was dissappointed with the park itself. We stayed for a week in june and whilst it was warm the wind was strong all week with the park sited on top of the cliffs. Best tip is to visit perranporth beach its only a 10 minute drive from the park. Got to be the best beach ive visited in the UK even better than bamburgh and it has a pub built on the beach which is always a good thing right. St ives is well worth a visit and highly reccomend a boat trip to see the seals on the rocky islands down the coast. Check tide times because when we did a boat trip and returned to harbour the tide had gone out and water was too shallow for our boat to dock. We had to be ferried back to the harbour 2 at a time in a tiny boat. Kids were crying when being transferred between boats. Be warned though st ives is simillar to whitby full of narrow streets but a lot more tourists. You park at the top of the town in a large car park and can either walk down into town or jump on a bus. Id go early to beat the crowds as it will be difficult to push a buggy through the narrow streets when its busy
No, we are not travelling people 😂 at the same time we don't have anything against travelling people we are from up North Newcastle it might of been our Accent that lead you to believe that 👍
We were at Perran Sands recently too. I've seen a lot of people saying Haven are replacing a lot of their touring pitches with statics, I hope Perran keep their safari and dome tents.
Seen a ice cream van at haggerston Castle in September when we were there and we have been to seashore in great Yarmouth when I was a toddler that was along way

I’m going to Perran sands soon as well , I have never been to Cornwall and I’m so excited . Me and my family normally go on holidays to Devon but we are going to Cornwall this year ! My family always leaves for holiday at 3.00 😂
