3060Ti here, I expect to run any game at 1440p high at 60+ fps with or without DLSS quality. If I can't do that, the game is poorly optimized. I should be able to run anything I want with a modern mid range GPU that I spent $400 for. A lot of money.

I want to say that the first Stalker game, Shadow of Chernobyl, was launched in 2007. The 8800 GTX was the most revolutionary GTX of its time. It was the first GTX with unified shaders and was launched in 2006. Two of them in SLI barely reached 90-100 FPS at maximum details. The scale of performance is still the same. If you tried an 8600 GT or 8600 GTS back in the day in the first Stalker game, it would have had the same performance. This test you see today is awesome because it's showing the scale at which the gaming industry is moving forward. I think this game, with a few updates, will become awesome.

RTX 3060ti user here. I get better frames in Wukong, but a lot more random stuttering. That said, ST2 needs more time in the oven. Waaaaay too many bugs rn on top of performance issues. I hate UE5
In 2023 I bought a used Liquid Devil 6800 XT for the same price that new 4060s were selling for at the time. The card often approaches 2x the performance of the 4060 for the same money. Honestly, the 4060 feels like a scam product, and if I was an ignorant consumer who bought a 4060 and saw how it compared to similarly priced used GPUs, I imagine it would've been the last nVidia product I ever bought.
I played Sons of the Forest when it first came out and that game ran like butter compared to the later UE5 titles. I'm not sure what happened with later titles, but I'm not sure I'd put this one on the engine. I think we should be honest that it's currently just an underbaked, poorly optimized game. It doesn't have to stay that way though. Really hoping they delay the DLC and just focus on fixing what they have.
Thank you for taking the time to test this game and the useful info it provided ! If you please, as i know, DLAA and Native AA are not using upscaling yet they are available through DLSS or FSR therefore i wonder : why DLAA and NativeAA even exist in the first place since "native" is default as "resoution default" for any game ! Is "native" a magic word for marketing ?! I tried the game with no upscale and is ugly as in anti-aliasing ugly which is weird! With any upscale method and subsequent quality detail it looks better which is weird again. And, at least for me, overall it is not a "2024" game in terms of quality, sadly. With a rx6600xt and r5 2600 i can play at 1440p native res / Epic Settings at 30+ most of the time and it is not graphically impressive. With FSR AA Native+FG i get anything between 50-70+ fps at the same res/settings. Thank you for your input ! Crispy Critters, Kryzzp :)
Both native AA and DLAA still uses the DLSS 3 and FSR 3 image reconstruction algorithm and temporal jittering to make the image better with less aliasing. Just the image up-scaling part is omitted. As DLAA and FSR 3 have different image reconstruction techniques, hence the native AA and DLAA part is exposed to us users through their respective options and not available globally as a single option.
@@kishaloyb.7937 Thank you, it partially clarifies things for me since i understand your explanation partially :) Ultimately i am right, Dlaa and AA Native are less then "native" , why would i need "amd or nvidia native" since i have the native resolution already? Am i missing smth ? ...hmm ?...like vsr which is not really resolution and so on...
@@hollairis I'd say it's the opposite. Nvidia DLAA and FSR 3 Native AA is superior to "native", since those added image reconstruction algorithms and temporal jittering is actually making the final rendered image much better and superior compared to "native". Without those, a pure "native" image would be full of aliasing, shimmering and visual artifacts.
I have a xeon 2650 v4 (2.6 ghz), 32gb ram ddr4 2400mhz and a gtx 1080 8gb gdrr5 and it works with high/epic graphics with fg and fsr3 quality at 60-70fps at 1080p
This kinda makes me wanna go back and give the 2nd game a chance again. Call of Pripyat just didn't grab me as much as Shadow did. Not entirely sure why.
I love this game so far. Yes, it has issues, but I think the game is great. Im getting 72fps on average most settings at high reflections and shadows at medium. 1440p resolution FSR quality I7-12700k RX 7700xt 32gb DDR5-5600 Samsung 980 NVME. I had to down clock my ram speed my pc kept freezing at 6,000 on the windows log in screen.
Wonder if my 6700XT will do OK at 4K Performance FSR (or TSR, depending) on medium settings. From what I've seen it still looks pretty great at medium, so I'm excited to try it out once it hits a sale or something.
I won’t excuse bad optimization. Obviously DLSS has ruined game optimization for the rest of time, but if we consider DLSS as a baseline, isn’t this pretty on par with what one would expect? For the most demanding and graphical games, hasn’t the 60 series cards always been the 1080p to light-1440p card? Or am I misremembering? I always thought the 70 series was the secure 1440p experience and then anything beyond was bonus performance.
people commenting that the visuals is not great (people who have not played the game who are just basing the graphics quality on a game recording and youtube which we all know changes the full graphics quality of the game recording) before you say the visuals are bad play the game first and see for yourself... Nice video also poor rtx 4060 hahahahaa. I played yesterday as well 9hours straight firt run on my pc , i run R7 5800X3D and rx 7900GRE and game make 1080p preset for me with epic settings so i get into game and with 1080p epic prest and FSR native my systeam was able to give me good 75 to 83 fps max which was like damn with this spces in native 1080p i expected a bit more but its UE titul so i anable as well frame gen and since its fsr 3.1 game looks stunning and i get 144fps and that is limit of my monitor refresh rate and after i put it to unlimited i get from 125 to 153 fps really good with frame gen, I wanted to see how fps i can get in 1440p so i selected same settings for 1440p fsr native epic preset and i get 60 to 65 fps and in the town area even drops to 45fps which was brutal, after i anable again Frame gen my fps jump to 74 to around 110fps max and this is really good for me i like to play in 1440p epic preset with fsr 3.1 native and frame gen also VSINC on its makes this game very smooth and with those settings game run like charm very good very smooth and what is plus for people with a bit weaker gpus like rx 5700xt or even rtx 2060 in 1080p game looks almost as good as in 1440p but you have to anable epic settings and than anable FSR frame gen and it will work good also i got as well rtx 3070 and i have around 25 to 30 fps less with frame gen in this ttitul but that is expected cuz rx 7900gre is mutch stringer gpu but over all i expect to game run mutch worse and this is not bad visuals with FSR 3.1 or XESS or DSR are basicly same also no shimiring at all in FSR 3.1 what was hugge reliefe for me. I think the stalker devs really give us what they promise even tho performance in native could be better but well thats why we have those frame gen tech in game, overall 8,5 from 10 in my opinion also i have 0 game braking bugs 0 stuters and 0 crashes and this is something like seen dragon in game that came out in 2024 really good port in my opinion but you have to get very good CPU not gpu but CPU in this game thats main thing cuz game gonna eat your CPU alive , like my 5800X3D was yesterday pushed to limit basicly i saw 80% cpu utilization togeather with 100%gpu utilization perfect and temps of cpu was 77C max which for my air cooler was nice. I really like how devs implemented the FSR XESS and TSR and also DLSS really good job, i also have at home another of mine gpus rtx 3070 OC and that gpus for perform on avarage 15 fps more than this rtx 4060 and with FSR frame gen actually worked very well so i could use DLAA and frame gen and its around 105fps while running in the forest also i tested it at 1080p DLAA with frame gen and epic preset and also high preset and i would recomendet the epic preset at 1080p gpu give you abit more than rtx 4060 but not by a mutch its time when we say that owr good rtx 3070 is no longer midrange gpu for 1440p but more like excelent 1080p gpu damn, but back to that DLAA makes looks everything very nice more sharp very good on the other hand the FRS is more like over sharpen maybe too mutch for someone i quite like that but maybe XESS give you best out of the box cuz its lttle bit less sharp than FSR but bit more than DLAA perfect in the middle also difference between 1080p epic FSR native and 1440p FSR native are minimal same goes for DLAA,XESS and DSR also FPS all of those are evry close if you testing it on one same gpu but as always the amd frame gen give you a bit more fps but only around 10% more this time but over all great implenetation of all technologies in my opinion. If this game come out 3 days early maybe it would win game of the year but it came out a bit too late for that.

That said, ST2 needs more time in the oven. Waaaaay too many bugs rn on top of performance issues.
I hate UE5
On my 4060 laptop body am and wukong ran smooth with dlss balanced and fg (didn’t use fg on bodycam)
Why are you mentioning bodycam xd?? You know that's a game made by one or two devs?
@ more actually, they a whole office
In 2023 I bought a used Liquid Devil 6800 XT for the same price that new 4060s were selling for at the time. The card often approaches 2x the performance of the 4060 for the same money. Honestly, the 4060 feels like a scam product, and if I was an ignorant consumer who bought a 4060 and saw how it compared to similarly priced used GPUs, I imagine it would've been the last nVidia product I ever bought.
Awesome. This should work with my 4k TV and my 3060 ti in DLSS performance. Upscaling ftw.
6700xt 👀
@@kishaloyb.7937 Alright, thanks for the effort !
I have a xeon 2650 v4 (2.6 ghz), 32gb ram ddr4 2400mhz and a gtx 1080 8gb gdrr5 and it works with high/epic graphics with fg and fsr3 quality at 60-70fps at 1080p
First again zwormz thanks for all the benchmarks hope you're healthy and happy in your life
Thank you, everything's going well 🙂
Have a great day!
1440p resolution FSR quality
I7-12700k
RX 7700xt
32gb DDR5-5600
Samsung 980 NVME.
I had to down clock my ram speed my pc kept freezing at 6,000 on the windows log in screen.
9:18 даже топы х3д не справляются с этим не оптимизированным шедевром)))
Can you do 3060ti? Probably the same
Sure, it'll come :)
So unstable engine like UE5 give devs balls to ignore the basic capabilities of existing hardware and push the graphics to meaningless insane
I wish i could watch this video but my glasses broke so im blind as a bat. My vision looks like N64 graphics.
( then someone will comment i have played the game even though they haven't ) kids these days........ if you don't like the game very simple don't buy it and shut up if you think it is bad go elsewhere
Just trashing the game because of their card cant run the game
I hate this
Dont call it ugly
Its the optimisation what should be the main topic
Not the graphics
One guy said it looks like 2013 game
One said it looks worse that rdr
I y
My self have gtx 1650
I cant run this game on my little card
And still can say this game looks awesome buy just looking it in videos
There are russian comments😂

Am waiting for rtx 3070 test in this game :)
one thing is for sure, this game needs 32 GB of RAM, in my case it used here 2:03 25 GB of RAM
Should i even get the game if i only have an 8700K and RTX 2070? Will it even run in 1080p at 60?
"Churnobial"😂 I like that pronounciation
In 8:30 yes ram usage go from 17700 to18500
I guess you did run out of VRAM at 2:17, 'cause the RAM usage went up by 500 megabytes for a second, and then went back to normal...
I wonder is pripyat is gonna be super cpu demanding considering it's a major town 🤔
Why do you disable cores on your cpu? Also compiling the shaders take me around 3-5 minutes EVERY TIME
Howw the hell maaaaannnn ?..my rtx 3050 6gb gives around 65 to 70 in epic settings (FG+DLSS On)...I am super duper lucky like u ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What do recommend on 1080p?
Medium + FG ?
Sir Kryzpo the Third,
May I request of you that you test the Graphics Processing accelerator more widely know as the RX 6800?
Best regards,
Cesar
To play this game at 4k 120 fps without dlss you need at least rtx 5080 and above sadly :/
Hm, and what u need to play in any UE5 title in 4k120 without dlss?
Why only 4k, why not 16k360fps without dlss, bruh
@@anatolii6375 You're too funny you idiot. 🥵
@@anatolii6375 OK
@@mehmet_alp_ktk_16 this games doesnt even run 4k 120fps with dlss and fg enabled.
@@mehmet_alp_ktk_16 nah, dude, you definitely joking. Even gta 5 in 4k on 4090 can’t give you 120 fps
th-cam.com/video/wfcMbfPmYQQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gkheQE1ZJpfsmg23
game has software raytracing by default. thats why its heavy on the GPU
8GB of VRAM is enough for playing STALKER 2 at 1080p in high settings, but FPS is not enough due to slow GPU. So the weakest part of RTX 4060 is not VRAM amount at all! It's just slow. Who want more VRAM on RTX 4060 to be "future proof"? That "future" is here and RTX 4060 is not "proofed" as you can see )
You should try MSI Afterburner/Riva Tuner with its framerate limit and see how it fixes all the erratic frametimes.
Whoever saying graphics is bad, don’t confuse rainbow shiny worlds like Horizon and brutal Soviet post apocalypse graphics. It looks amazing.
I have a rtx 3080 12gb , 32gb of ram and a ryzen 5800x3d. How will this game run on my rig?? Specially my cpu, is its powerfull enough to run this without any problems?
Yeah, my xeon e5-2660v3 just dying in Zalissya...hope that they optimize CPU load at some point
If ur planning to make a Sunday video i recommend u wait cuz a bunch of games are releasing
About the same fps i get with the 5800x3d/1080ti combo in 1080p High . Also FSR 3 FG works out to about 80- 90fps.
2k monitor, rtx 3060. should I even try to run it?
Stalker 2 "The heart of CherNOBIAL" 🤣🤣.. Love the accent...
I was playing last night and there are certain sections and interactions with NPCs that completely tank my fps. Im talking like 85 fps dropping down to 10 fps. I have no idea whats causing it.
waiting to know how the 7900xt performs
Are those white little dots apart of the game
Yes that’s an effect of radiation
Yeah it's kind of annoying, even if you get the tiniest ammoit of radiation, ur whole screen will be covered in it.
@@Slowburnripz it is supposed to be. You’re not supposed to like radiation. The point is to avoid it.
@@strangeke7750 it's kind of annoying In my opinion, even if you barley walk past some ur screen will have the dots. Personally for me I think they should have just left it with the meter showing it and not add some static effect to your screen. But I get it, it's part of the games immersion.
@@Slowburnripz they have the meter but when the radiation is life threatening it shows the dots as a visual cue. It’s supposed to be annoying and uncomfortable and a great visual for radiation. In my opinion. I played metro exodus and it was the same. It was annoying but I felt like it was part of the experience. It made me feel like I was getting bombarded by radiation. lol. I just wanted to get away from it.
