That clip on the visor is used to attach the visor flap to the t top seal when the t tops are out. In other words the visor flap doubles as an air deflector for when the t tops are out. It’s in the owners manual.
I had one back in the 80's... Loved that car.
These cars are a dream to work on and the trailing suspension is truly awsome

Really, really in good shape. I noticed when you were displaying the thing that came with the car, my former wife and I ordered a 1983 280 ZX turbo, am/fm stereo cassette, t tops from the manufacture. It came with 6 miles on it. The thing that the ZX we purchased came with these very well made and lined slip in storage cases for the T-tops which I did not see with yours. There were also strap downs in the rear hatch area to use when you took the T tops out so that they would not be moving or sliding around. The wife decided to go grocery shopping on night at about 9ish and was rear-ended by a woman who had been drinking and not paying attention, the other driver was going about 45 and never even hit the breaks! The rear bumper was up over the tires. The wife was not seriously hurt. I loved that car and tried to talk the insurance company in to covering the repair and split the cost, but no deal. I followed the car at the repair shop looking to buy it once the work was done but could not swing that expense and a new car for the wife, so the last time I saw it, it was on a frame rack with most of the metal removed from just to the front of the rear wheels. :-(

That little hanger in the visor is when the T-top is open you should extend the LED of the visor and hook it within the T-top grove as a wind deflector
He thinks he knows the car....he should also let it idle down...so the oil cools the turbo bearings.

I had a 1980 2 seater and loved the car. Why not post the price on your listing on your website? I absolutely abhor websites that list the item but don't have the price listed.

Probably the best Z car color combo. Way to rock that PRX Powematic 80! I've also noticed that you like to match your hat to the make of the car in the video. Kamei is a German company started in the 1950s. They did chin spoilers for VWs, etc. Now they make roof boxes, some paint protection and loading sill covers. The chin spoilers (if you can find them NOS) are very desirable. I think that hook on the visor is for holding a folded pair of sunglasses or a ballcap.
