Great job, but please, they need to have safety classes, protective helmets, and footwear.could not the government provided those necessities. And the people are standing too close to the workmen.
Wow, now it looks like in Europe. I mean it is like Ukraine, after Russian bombed it. (Sarcasm) I am tourist. My first visit to the Gambia was 2007. I went back year by year. I liked to walking aroud Brikama streets. So full of colours, peoples, commotion, smels, flies. I loved it. It was like adventure. I am sorry that many ladies lost their busines. In the name of security police forces and so destroy more than necessary. I think, I dont come back.
Perhaps due to some of the shop owner’s building structures on land they don’t own and everyone encroached on the roads which belongs to the government and a lot of the areas were unhealthy due to garbage being everywhere.
Good job this is call national development but this thing they do to brikama market is really unlawful Dey didn’t do it in serekunda market y brikama sometimes we park politics aside an do the needful its not fair at all looking at the cost of living in Gambia an government didn’t even fight the cost of living but destroying people shop remember dat people voted for him
VERY SAD AND MOST UNFORTUNATE.WILL THE SMALL SHOP OWNERS GET COMPENSATED???HAVE THE GAMBIAN AUTHORITIES PROVIDED ALTERNATIVES PLACES FOR THE SHOP OWNERS???

Nobody is but there's a balance. Government have to find them somewhere else and we must abide by the law or there's chaos
Good, you cant allow lawlessness if you want development
