    I'm a big fan of early morning skating 6am+ on some days, it's great for empty parks and quieter street spots.
    Sounds like you could benefit from it cuz of the heat! ✌️

    Crouching lower on the approach meant that you were more tucked when you landed the grinds. More tucked meant better knee bend action and stylish tricks. Hips towards or away from the ledge makes sense. Mizou hips away, sweatstance hips towards. Soul hips towards, top soul hips away. Regular versus topside are mirrors of one another like frontside and backside groove tricks are mirrors. Ever tried making hips more open for back farv?

    Always great vids! I loved topsides 20 years ago when I used to skate. Fishbrains and topsides acids/souls were THE trick for me. Now, 20 years later I started skating again with my kid. I'm tryin to slowly get back to grinds. IIRC, when doing topside tricks I'd approach the rail or ledge already crouched, storing that kinetic energy for when I jump up Into the rail/ledge. I was never trying jump "on top" of it, but instead sort of Slip my frame into my target, if that makes any sense. I still recall the mental feeling of doing them. As for trying to pull topside tricks today in my early 40's, that will require a lot more practice for me, and more yoga!

    I'm very much new to grinding and practicing now a days, I also realized that on one of Demetrios George's videos squatting makes difference, and I was complaining about my skates that are too heavy but when I see that Demetrios George is also skating on that old thrones which probably is very heavy much like to mine "Evo 14" I decided to stop complaining and skate more, so in that way maybe I can also make high jumps, keep practicing! 😃👍

    Thanks for the idea about body positioning for topsides. I have the same issue sliding out a lot. Going to try this next time!

    Great insights as always. I love the addition of b roll and also how much your skating has progressed since the channel started. Thanks for all the fine work you do for the community! 💯

    Tripp with the X Grind. And David with the UFO on the top ledge. Law if you got a bit more speed you could start lacing that top ledge.

    You should watch Acosta Blades tutorial on top sides. I know that you are friends with him, he mentioned you in his videos. You are doing EXACTLY what he says most people do wrong with topside. They chop into the trick and try to catch the soul plate. Instead of jumping ABOVE the opsticale and landing on top of it with the frame. Much scarier and worse falls when you chop at it, you rip up your shin if you miss. Just watch his tutorial. It was eye opening for me. Made it so much easier and safer.

    Love that you stuck all those tricks. Hope you can get the topsides down. I’d love to see you grind a bit faster in you videos though even if it’s easier tricks. Though I do realise it ain’t always that easy in the heat. Keep up the work. Love from 🇬🇧 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

    Great Channel. Really happy you are reviewing the Razors Genesy right now. Having right now Xsjado Skates from the mid. 2000`s, got back to blading myself this year. Looking now for new Skates, problem is I´m size 13 with flat wide feet, so any skates you could recommended? Skating Street, Pool and Flatland, not sure if the Razors are stable enough? Keep up the good work. Best wishes from Berlin. Nils 39

      @@BacktoBlading Funny that you say that because i was going to buy them first. Then i saw your review and now i,m worried that the skate is to wobbly for jumps and pool. Thanks for your feedback.

    • @BacktoBlading
      @BacktoBlading  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s wobbly, but remember Aragon skated them and killed. I think if you found the right liner you’d be happy

      @@BacktoBlading Thanks again. Last question i hope. ;) I found the RAZORS GENESYS III Boot only in my size for 90€. Do you know if there are any big differences between the RAZORS GENESYS LE and the RAZORS GENESYS III ? Because i got wheels and frame all i need is a new boot. ;)
