Hey sir , I forgot to follow Engine Running in and revved the engine to 6.5 rpm during overtake on hills in 2nd gear with four passengers during first 1500km Really worried some told me not to worry some are telling my engine has metal peices in engine oil now ..😭
Hey, I understand your concern! Revving the engine to 6.5 RPM in 2nd gear with passengers isn’t ideal, especially early on, but modern engines are built to handle such conditions. It’s important to follow the break-in procedure for the first 1,000-1,500 km to allow the engine parts to settle in. However, if you notice any unusual sounds or performance issues, it’s a good idea to get the oil checked and possibly changed. If you’re worried about metal particles in the oil, having the oil analyzed can give you peace of mind. But don’t stress too much, as long as there are no noticeable issues with engine performance!
Very practical variant
