Bro… For real… You're the best! I would say 90% of mid journey TH-camrs are just tubers full of BS… re-uploading outdated videos… And wasting our time. Stay with this format your direct straight to the point very productive
You defiantly one of the best you go straight to the point. And directly to the information we rarely find TH-cam videos like yours usually. They start talking crap and disconnected conversations that are not related to the content .
Omg! finally a midjourney video that is concise, to the point, shows the prompt - comparison- and outcomes systematically (as often just the 1 or 2 words make a huge difference while others dont!) Thank you so much! love this no-nonsense , well thought out video!
You know what I love about this video Tao... you didn't waste time with nonsense, dude you were so fast I didn't even know thew video started lol. Love it.
Great to hear that! I've also made an updated guide to camera angles with some more specifics on framing the exact shot here: th-cam.com/video/gW9GkbnppP4/w-d-xo.html
Your videos are amazing. Though you cover the material from PDFs in this video, I just purchased the Camera Angles and the AI Photography guides from your website to support you. Thanks for the amazing content!
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 📷 *Consider different camera angles for diverse perspectives: centered, side profile, back view, and 3/4 profile view.* 01:23 🎥 *Vary shot types for different visual impact: close-up, medium close-up, extreme close-up, medium shot, cowboy shot, and full body shot.* 03:23 🔄 *Experiment with camera angles for dramatic effects: low angle shot, high angle shot, and wide angle shot.* 05:57 💡 *Remember the three key components of camera control: direction, shot type, and camera angle. Mix and match for creative results.* 07:21 🤳 *Explore additional camera angles like Dutch angle shot, point of view shot, and selfies for dynamic photography.* 07:35 📸 *Utilize different camera lenses for diverse effects: wide angle, fisheye, macro, and tilt-shift lenses.* 08:31 🌄 *Experiment with various viewpoints for landscape photography: overhead view, bird's eye view, ground level shots, and panoramic shots.* Made with HARPA AI
Hey, if you want a floral pattern you could try using the --tile parameter in your prompts which should produced a tiled pattern that connects seamlessly. I have a short video about that here:th-cam.com/video/ExKwOn_3yfg/w-d-xo.html@@saravananmurugesan4783
Excellent tutorial, you are the best, subscribed already. Can you please create a PDF for the prompts in this video, I have downloaded the cinematic prompts PDF but doesn't cover all this video prompts.
You're welcome, I'm glad you like my guides. I have a couple free guides here: taoprompts.gumroad.com/ I'm running behind on the new pdfs, but I am planning to work on them soon.
Wow! That's a really educational Tutorial about Camera Angles. I was looking for such a tutorial. Thank you for sharing this info. You have a new subscriber to your channel. 👍 By the way, here at 8:22 You said (Ariel view)? Do you mean “AERIAL” view? Not Ariel, The little mermaid? he he 😊
Thanks for subbing! I must have spelled that wrong, yeah I meant aerial 😂. Surprisingly it still works, I guess Midjourney's training data must have some wrong spelling in it also.
he tells it well, it's interesting, but you won't remember everything, but is there a link site with ready-made examples of a description? what would it be possible to always look at is always at hand and what would be in the form of a table
Hello Tao, thank you for your video, it helped me a lot. 😊 If possible, I would like a tutorial for creating images with two characters (romance, friendship, combat, etc.) Clothes and hair colors often mix up, I have difficulty giving them two different emotions and when I do friendship scenes, the characters seem in love. If you think other people might be interested in knowing this, it would be great if you explained it to us. THANKS. 😁
That's a hard angle to get in Midjourney. You could try using a reference image and turn the image weight (--iw) up all the way. After a couple of image generations you might get something close.
Try removing "portrait" from your side profile descriptions - its fighting with what you are after. Medium shot and cowboy shot do not work in MJ any better than chance - they just don't. You cherry picked those.-overall you will get a medium shot as random and you will usually get a cowboy with a cowboy shot. Better to describe the things on the character you want just insider frame (belt, hat etc) For full length shots - start with "wideangle full length, " tell mj what they are doing and what they are standing on (walking on, running on ) This works regardless of --ar. "Shot" is a wasted word. "View" is better. Camera lens lengths in mm don't work either. 35mm is a type of film/film format, not a lens length in MJ speak.

@@taoprompts yes they help a lot, will you be doing a video on consistent characters sometime in the future?
@@taoprompts like the same character in different shots and angles?
Yes, when Midjourney releases inpainting & outpainting for version 6, consistent characters should be possible.@@BigNewsNorman

This is excellent info! What prompt would I use to generate images that are shot from head height?
Do you mean an eye level shot? You could try adding "eye level shot" at the beginning of the prompt.

Runway ML just came out with multi motion brush today, can you make a video comparing it with stability ai image to video?
I haven't kept up with Runway ML, I'll have to spend some time get familiarized with it again and make another video about it.
Great content. Will this work for other type image as well? Like painting or drawing ?
Yeah, most of these should work for different art mediums.
This is so good….
Thanks I appreciate that.

Thank you!
I wish Midjourney could do consistent characters, so we can combine these camera angles with our consistent characters.
They are working on a character consistency feature that should be out in the next couple months.
It can now
In v7 hope we can change all direction with diffrent angels with same photo.
That would definitely be possible when they introduce 3D, maybe soon!
First 🎉

When i try to use cowboy shot, I get cowboys.
A better way to prompt for it is to specifically included details about the head and also the knees, so the shot is framed from the knees to the head
"Shot" is a wasted word. "View" is better.
Camera lens lengths in mm don't work either. 35mm is a type of film/film format, not a lens length in MJ speak.
