Here is my thoughts. This game will not even be close. If Franklin doesn’t pull the starters like he did with SMU by the beginning of the 4th quarter PSU wins it 41 to 13
That was the first game of the season. I watched that game and Oregon didn't have their "stuff" together yet. It's not much of an indicator of anything.
From a Boise perspective, I would first say: 1) Your Oregon guy fails to mention Oregon had not one, but 2 special teams TDs in the win vs Boise. So to say Oregon had it under control and the game slipped based on a few turnovers is certainly missing that context 2) I would say for Boise, besides getting healthy, Maddox Madsen has improved a lot from the first half of the season. Jeanty played the second half of the year with a few nagging injuries, which probably played some factor in his lower efficiency to end the year, and Maddux made plays when needed. The offense was a lot less dependent on Jeanty the last half of the year for sure. Defense has also certainly improved as well, from giving up 40+ to Georgia Southern just a week before playing Oregon. I would just say from a Boise fan’s perspective who is still realistic we are a long shot to win, if you had asked me in week 8 if we could win a playoff game like this, I would have said no. The improvement I have seen makes me believe, we are more than just Jeanty, and I expect us to keep it competitive for at least most of the game, with a small but real chance to win
They can definitely keep it close to Penn State in the first half no doubt. Penn State is got to be one of the worst first half college football teams in the country. I don't know what the hell they do at halftime, but the adjustments are second to none. Maybe we see something different this week, but I doubt it. Penn State has done this crap all year. Boise state needs to really focus on not turning over the ball. They cannot make any mistakes against this Penn State defense. If they can have mistake free game, they can definitely be in this game going into fourth quarter.
@@michaelkimball8192Boise State rises to the occasion regardless of the competition. Hence there winning percentage sense joining the FBS. These are blue collar, built different kids that got passed up on, told they weren’t the right fit, misfits if you will. These kids thrive on being counted out. Underdogs all their lives and this is the biggest stage to prove themselves? I’ll take Boise State every day.
@@B_town_ let's be honest here, misfits or not, the talent is not there compared to Penn State. There's a reason why Penn State has a few five star and mostly four star players. Boise state's made up of three star players mostly. I'm not knocking Boise State, but you have to be honest. The chances of them winning this game and slim to none. People keep bringing up to 2007 fiesta bowl. Why? I have no idea these aren't the same kids coaches etc etc. Boise State played an Oregon team who was still trying to find theirselves in the game at the beginning of the year. They haven't played a team of Penn State stature this year. And Yes, UNLV who was probably their toughest competition would lose to half of the Big ten. The competition is just different. You just got to be realistic here
@@michaelkimball8192 I’ll check back in at halftime, I understand the worry and anxiety we are causing you guys. I hope you guys don’t over plan on stopping Jeanty! WE COMING BABY LETS FUCKING GO
It is not a good indicator of anything, Oregon had major offensive line issues. Those issues are gone. If they okayed again it would be 40 to 17, and that's about what I expect from Penn State
I love the argument that BSU played an early Oregon team lol. I guess being a early BSU game doesn't hold water. Penn St. Just played Oregon late, how did Oregon's defense hold up? It took 2 special team return for TD's to beat BSU by a last 2nd field goal. I can't wait for this game to see if the disrespect is justified or not. BSU fan here, I believe Penn St. who'd they play bit is getting ridiculous as well. Leave it all out on the field boys. Let's gooooooo!
The whole, oh they played Oregon beginning of the year close argument is stupid. I’ll guarantee you right now Oregon didn’t give a fuck about Boise beginning of the year. This is a one and done situation Penn state cares and are going to come out and dominate man. Spencer with the “but they put up 35 points 🤷🏽♂️” naw dawg, multiple stupid turnovers by a team not locked in because they were playing scrubs was the reason. Penn State rolls big here. 35/42-10/17

Making excuses?
it was their second game, after they played a bad game to u of i, oregon fans were saying “no way it’s a close game again”
And Oregon didn’t GaF about Boise bc they are G5 team they stink. This is one and done they are going to get rolled.
@@bobbydenezza7795 An interesting question in hindsight.
Yeah Boise State played Oregon close. But so did Wisconsin and PennState handled them with no problem. Penn State 31-20
Idaho also played them close
Team doesn't ask much of its defense? Where they ranked in sacks stats?

What disrespect. You Boise fans disrespect PSU. You throw in our faces your RB and the Oregon game.
Penn State will mop the floor with Biose, sorry not sorry. Pretty sure Oregon Defence was sick against Penn State, but we will see ok wednesday 😊
So I guess they don’t teach proper Grammar in Idaho because I had a stroke trying to read what you said. 💀

Penn State isn't the same team since early.
Oregon isn't the same team since early season.
BSU is the same team?
You penn state fans are in for a rude awakening. Ill be back after the game to remind you
Please do come back 😂, West Virginia fans acted the same way all summer towards us and got splattered in Morgantown.
Penn State 38-14
Boise State ain't winning shit, sorry dude
Drew Allar is over rated and won’t be playing on Sunday
Don't quit that day job.
We aren’t going to find out against a pass defense ranked in the triple digits lol
Put the pipe down dude. Seriously.
He is super over rated.
