I think it's great that you work hard to consider the child and the family. However that was not my experience. Dr. Supperina made a surgical error which landed my child on dialysis in 2019. She has yet to be transplanted and I was worked up and approved as a donor. Furthermore, Supperina did not move to transplant my daughter prior to initiating hemodialysis. He made her dialysis dependent by removing her second kidney. That kidney had great function and no cancer at all. He came into her room during COVID and told me that he would only transplant my kidney into her if he removed her other kidney. He harmed my daughter and put her at a great risk also noticed that all of the children who received kidneys are white. In fact the only African American child in this video is mine. It was disrespectful of Rachel Engan to approach us for this "commercial" considering that she knew what they had done to my daughter in the OR. Saying that they are sorry for harming my daughter is insufficient. My child still needs a kidney, they need to pay for a transplant and damages associated with their errors. I can't believe LCH has the audacity to run this video.
