Did that give you much of a gain? Also do you have to contact them for the tune? I check there site and nothing. I have a 13. I wonder if they can kill the primary cats from the ecu... 😂
When I first purchased this vehicle I was told there was something wrong with the TCM/TCU. I'm getting codes saying its the ECM/PCM processor. No codes about the TCU but I do have two revolving around the transmission. If I replace the ECM as a whole will the TCU come with it or do I need to purchase them separately? thanks. Also did you have to go to the dealership to re-program?
I will when I get some time. I'll have to have someone with me to record. Its definitely a big change, but the TCU tune only affects the manual drive mode. The car drives normally in D, but when you go to sport, the shift response is a little faster and there are some other small benefits like being able to go past redline but really the ECU is what made the biggest difference.
@@greasy5.02 that's awesome! I swear the rev limit they put was like over 7000rpms on their website. I am really thinking about getting one here soon one I get my SHO Taurus where I want it .
It does get to like 7300 I think although I am a bit skittish about getting it that deep into redline. My tranny has the common rough shifting issue for this year and i dont wanna break it much further but it does allow it to go into the red and you can hold it as long as you want, it will not auto upshift in manual mode.

What do you do after installing the tcu and the ecu do you have to take it somewhere to tune the car or does it do it by itself ?
The ecu and tcu are tuned so he's installing the tuned computers not the stock ones.
