This video shows how to add calcium chloride to a swimming pool the proper (and safe) way. Laura Evans from Orenda demonstrates pre-dissolving calcium chloride in a bucket, then pouring it into the pool. It is important to pre-dissolve dry chemicals before adding them to the pool.
Caution! Calcium chloride being dissolved in water gives off a lot of heat. It is called an exothermic reaction. Use caution and protective safety gear...like Laura does in the video.

Stuff gets hot, says don't dilute on the bag. Add it directly to the pool
