It was a basic setup for lethal/last chance win condition that Kripp missed because he was like totally spaced and playing like shit that day.

I actually agree with this completely. In magic drafting everyone always take the mythics and legendaries first because that allows them to build around those high powered cards......also because you get to keep the cards and you want that cash money bby!

You're supposed to play KT *after* you do your trades, for maximum effectiveness. Your opponent will go from "I dig those awful trades my opponent is making" to "Oh no that's Kel'Thuzad, I did not expect that, what do I do?"
Hey I did this in my last arena run except Kel Thuzad came in the middle. Highlight of the deck was beating a legend player, but that doesn't matter in arena because bad draws happen all the time.

I feel like the second guy was sniping. Trading the jade golem into the slime made no sense unless he knew krip had cyclopian horror, and later when he traded the mech warper into the ancient of lore it seemed like he knew krip had eviscerate (although it IS a pretty common card to play around).
