One of my favorite song by the Possom, George Jones. Great lesson. I've learned to play it watching you. I really like the sound of 7th chords. G7 is a very pretty chord. Thank you very much for teaching it. God bless you.
Love this old song! It was one of the first songs I learned to play when my dad taught me to play about 20 years ago.. George Jones was one of his favorites and and he use to play and sing this song so good too!! He's been resting in Heaven for almost 6 yrs now. This song reminds me of him big time!! Great song and very easy to play.. I love the sound of the G7 going into the C.. great job Mr Marty!!
You are very welcome. I'm glad your learning, thanx for tuning in and good luck. Hey, I'm trying to reach 100k subscribers so please spread the word about my channel, it would be greatly appreciated
Hey there Marty, great version of a really great Country Song. I am just now teaching myself to play this on Guitar, but to make it easier, and less complicated for me, I am only learning the 3 Chord Version of G,C, and D.
Thank you, I'm glad you think so. Thanx for tuning in. Hey, I'm trying to reach 100k subscribers so please spread the word about my channel, it would be greatly appreciated, thanx Reply ·
Great lesson Marty, I'm going have to watch this a few more times to get it down . I like the way you sang it. You hit the highs pretty good Thanks, for the lessons.
Great song, great job Marty. I've seen George do it in concert a couple of times when he came to Hamilton, Ontario. Thanks to your way of teaching, I've already got it learned. By the way excellent job with Hey Jude too. John
Excellent job! Forget the tutorial, you owned the vocals. I feel you, man. Long time follower, first time commenting. This one drew me out. Love what you do. Got to get started on this one right away. The wife's gonna love it.

Hey I am trying reach 100k subscribers, please pass the word along about my channel to your buds, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx for tuning in, Take care to you and yours
Thank you for the lessons. I actually use them to learn on my ukulele. It helps me see the chord changes and rhythm playing with a guitar player. Love the song and you did a great job.

Nice song Marty, well done. Being European I didn't know this one, I thought at first I was listening to Kris Kristofferson's "Help me make it through the night", except one is in G the other in D.
You are very welcome. I agree, it is a great tune. Hey I am trying reach 100k subscribers, please pass the word along about my channel to your buds, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx for tuning in, Take care and Happy Holidays to you and yours.
You do a great job singing and this is another EZ 3-4 chord song. I cant walk and chew gum so playing and singing is a CHALLENGE. Most teach how to change chords based on lyrics, this appears to be one song of many difficult to do. Can assist us on how to sing AND play? Keep up the good work.
+parneypots It's the old cliche, practice, practice, practice. I could never sing and play until I felt totally comfortable playing a guitar. Once I felt comfortable with my chord changes I could concentrate more on singing properly and then it all just clicked. Be patient and put in the time, it will come. Take care and good luck to you!!!
You are welcome x's 2!! Thanx. Hey, I am trying to reach 100k subscribers so tell your friends about me, it would be greatly appreciated, thanx for tuning in, good luck to you and take care
You made me CRY Marty....and thats a REALLY GOOD thing my friend!!!! I LOVE this song and you nailed it!!!! Sang and played it well and showed us how to do it!!!! VERY well done Marty!!!!
Hi PM, hello from England, love your channel, I wondered if you have (or will do) Almost Home by Craig Morgan it's another brilliant but sad song if you've covered it let me know where to find it please. Thanks & keep up the easy chords for us beginners, Stu
George Jones was one of the best and thanks for the awesome lesson.Always a pleasure. I am still hoping you can make a lesson for Conway Twitty's Goodbye time. your faithful subscriber enjoy your work.
+fizz gig Thanx for your kind words fizz, and i appreciate your continued support, I'll put it on my list of to do's, it's a mile long but I will get to it eventually, thanx again bud and take care
as long as you enjoy what your doing and continue to as well as you do it with great efforts to help us wanna bee's lol.. I will wait in the wings and watch..
Simply easy and great tutorials, but any chance of the tabs being shown on the bottom of the screen, I know most of these songs, but not the chord progression.
I'm afraid i'm not equipped for that, by design actually. The more you practice the better you recognize the chord shapes. I do this on purpose so the student has to practice to get results. Hope this helps, good luck in your learning.
It is an Epiphone Hummingbird, so I guess it's a fake but I love the look of it and it sounds great too. One day I'll have the real Black humming Bird, but she will do for now
It's a really slow strumming pattern that is the same through the whole song, it goes like this duduudu duduudu duduudu, I hope this helps, good luck with it. And remember to strum the strings really lightly
