How do you tune your snare
My bottom is usually cranked pretty gud to deaden the ring/overtone and my top is tuned to preference whether low & fat or poppin & full.

how do you record you playing the drums and the audio plus what mics are you using??
I use my iPhone for video which I have an irig running from to my ear monitor mixer and that picks up the audio that’s being sent to my mixer from the main sound system.

Man I’ve had that snare like 10/11 years. I think I got it from Musicians’ Friend. Pearl African Mahogany 13x9. I currently have the Remo P77 color tone on top and emporer on the bottom.
