Oh as to why I have the p77 on majority of all my snares, it’s the versatility of it. I can tune it high, mid or deep and still maintain a great tone without any overtone which also comes from how I tune the bottom head as well. I was playing Evans as well for years but I switched back to Remo about 5/6 years ago. I was going through Evans heads like krazi. They sound amazing but the durability wasn’t working for me.

Preciate it mane. Had a few mentors growing up but the placement just comes from my ear for the musiq man honestly. When I play, I’m listening to every musical instrument including the vocals and making sure I’m complimenting each of them individually but also collectively.
