Loved this! Since discovering you and recently reading you book I feel like this is the way of the future for business. When I go online now I'm looking at everything thats being pushed and shoved and consumed in a new way and I couldn't be bothered/I'm just not interested. I'm much more interested in doing business intentionally and in alignment with my design and who I am. Thanks so much for this new perspective!

Boundaries are very healthy and we need to remember that it’s our responsibility to set them, not to complain when others unwittingly cross our unspoken boundary. It sounds like you set your boundaries with your clients in a positive way. This subject has been part of my experience recently, literally exactly the situation you described of messaging in between sessions, and I have needed to have grace and forgiveness because it was not done as gracefully as I would have hoped and there were some hurt feelings. The boundary itself is perfectly fine but the way we communicate is very important, especially if it’s something we’ve been allowing previously and are wanting to change.
I really resonated with a lot of what you shared, especially the need to be free. Thank you for the discussion!

Thank you so much for this. I love your 'bookends' approach to your work. I've also adopted the same stance. I'm wondering if this is a Quad Right thing of my 8.5 in my P. Venus.....some more experimenting to do. I'm a 1/4 Emo Projector Quad Right with 7 open centres RAX Planning. I've tried the ongoing coaching and it just drains me and I become irritable with my clients. So I'm in the process of building a course that I can just put out there for people to enjoy and reflect upon. But just like yourself, I also love to turn up live and just have things drawn out of me. It's great to hear others approaching business in the same way. I knew that the strategic approach was just so off for me, my nerves were on edge all the time and it's caused me a lot of lost time and health.

Hey Nicky, thanks for pausing to comment! Great to hear that my approach resonates so much. Have you seen that I have an offering called ‘Create a tiny course’? I think it might be just the thing for where you are at 👌🏼

Love your youtube content together! As a 4/6 emo gen quad right, I feel like what I'm seeing everywhere is about--don't do anything, all you are is a well to be used...blah blah blah. Where is the empowerment!? To create our own. To see what others don't! To play with raw material here all around! Helpful to see others doing it their own way :D
