Because I have a neo walking stick, it makes me excited, confident, and not embarrassed to use my mobility aid in public. I have been asked about it though. Most that ask questions about my cane are just amazed by it and curious about where I got it from. It definitely is eyecatching because its so unique and pretty from your average medical cane. Most people have never seen one like it. So I love the Neo walking sticks, because its changing the way people think of mobility aids, and just how pretty and cool they can look. Also thank you because you were someone who not only inspired me to actually purchase my first mobility aid but you introduced me into the beautiful Neo Walking stick universe. I didn’t know such pretty canes existed until I saw your video about them.
Supportive comment. Thanks Elinor 😊, I love your content. I made my first experiences with my wheelchair outside. Toddlers and younger kids often made my day, because they react so sweet and interested. Also older people with walking sticks, in wheelchairs or with walkers greet me. That's so supportive.
I'm in the process of searching to get my first walking stick. I just saw all 3 of your videos about yours and they make me so happy to see you gained confidence over time. That motivate me a lot in addition to all of the useful advices you gave. Thank you very much! Hope you have a sweet day
Thank you for all of your videos, I don’t have me/cfs but I have found them so helpful especially the confidence with mobility aids and fashion etc. I’m currently waiting for the champagne fizz neowalk to come back in stock so I can buy the light up question mark version! I have a very boring stick at the moment and am excited about the thought of a neowalk!
Hello Elinor. Thank you for another lovely video. I have the champagne fizz with the question mark handle, and also the pistachio with the Snoopy handle, which gives good support and stability. I also got the rubber grip on the snoopy handle and it really helps my hands. I've noticed that I'm far more likely to get comments such as, "I love your cane," instead of, "What's wrong with you?/Why do you use a cane?" And it certainly adds joy (in addition to being functional) to have such pretty mobility aids.
I love Neo-Walk sticks, after seeing how good the light up function looks I may get my next one with the light up function. I have always gone for the question mark since I imagined the weight distribution to be better. I also got a clear one for my first stick and have had comments saying how pretty it is.
My Neo Walk stick is 2(?) years old now. It also has a light up torch! It's really fun and I get lots of compliments on it. It is different than yours. There is no magnet so I doesn't stay still, but it also doesn't rattle. Mine can be turned on and off without taking off the ferule. You use a "key" (just a little metal stick, like a match stick) on the bottom. I can imagine this wasn't completely water tight, but it's a lot easier.
Just so you know, Neowalk updated the flashlights so they no longer turn on with a key, but instead you have to turn it on by removing the ferrule like she shows here. Apparently, they are looking into a remote option for people with wrist issues.
Thanks for making this video! It was so useful ❤ I’ve only recently started using a stick and am struggling with confidence even though it helps me. Think a pretty stick will help 🥰
Yes and the more you like the look of it the more you are excited to use it. Least for me it's this way, I purchased my Neo walking stick for ambulatory use, but I love it so much I use it pretty much every time I go out. 😂
Thank you for sharing! Your walking stick is so beautiful. I love to see all the different styles.

Love the new stick. Fab colour and the light is awesome 🤩💜💜
Yay! Thank you!
Very nice! I have a variety of canes, a rollator and a manual wheelchair and an electric wheelchair and it's fun to be able to bling these things out.

Ooh have you read unwell women? It’s on my tbr and staring at me from across the room but I can’t really read atm. Looking forward to getting to it.
I’m in the middle of it at the moment! I’m thinking a video about it might be good?
No shame in picking something for the aesthetic - the best mobility aid is the one you'll use!

I like neowalk sticks but honestly i cant justify spending £90-£120 on a single walking stick that can only be used with one pair of shoes.
