Gutted for you John...we have a tow hitch fitted and have bottomed out on that several times but it has protected the bumper (although it has left scrape marks on the road where it has made contact) ☹️
Thank you for the warning and reminder. I’m taking our tag axle on the first solo trip soon and am paranoid I’ll bottom out somewhere or catch the back end! I hope you can fix it without too much expense. Beth x
Hi thanks watching, you'll be all right this is the 1st time it's happened in 20 years I thought I would let people know as there are a lot of 1st time owner, I've been able to fix it today was surpised that the bumb is just fitted with 50mm screws and Sikaflex it seems that even Bustner dropping their standards
@@budgesbusontourhappytravel200 glad the fix was straight forward. We caught the water tank and exhaust on our last van and that was only 7.77m. Out tag axle actually feels like it has more clearance but it’s deceptive. I will take it really slow!
Tail-end overhang and swing out whilst turning, overall ground clearance which most vehicles do not cater for, such as sloping ramps of any kind. Have to look and assess whether it's suitable to continue driving into these ground conditions. Not an easy call!
@@budgesbusontourhappytravel200 because like many other things, always taken forgranted will usually only be cars going to fuel up. Dickheads build the places without putting much thought into all types of vehicles which may need to access them. Not always a level playing field!

Yes we actually got ours stuck on a ramp. We are seriously considering VB semi suspension. They ground very easy.
