The way Jon skates up to that first rail... Timeless. His body movements are buried deep into our collective consciousness. As for everything this man does, three words suffice: thank you, Boss!
When I skated back in 90s and early 2000. I watch Jon and others skate inspired me. And now at 38 it inspires me again. I will be buying so them skates soon. I am all about supporting small business especially one like this. Thanks
Soooo passionate and hardworking person! Added with a circle of friends treating each other like a family! Big up from the Philippines Mr.Julio!!! Salute! 🙌🔥💥💯🇵🇭
Watched with my wife, she also loved it. And says hi. Love to hear more about the back end of blading. Really well made, makes me proud to be a blader.
Jon Julio! One of the first big skater names I heard when starting skating in ARKANSAS! Your legacy will go on in early day skaters hearts forever. Much love Mr. Bad Ass!
Jon, your story of starting this company got me back in the mix. 40 years old, it's been more than 20 years since I did it every day. It was just gone when I went to college, and I'm so pumped to have it back. My 909s are arriving today. Cheers to you man!
Yo I really appreciate this. Jon Julio was one of my favorite skaters when I was growing up. "You can have her" with him skating in Hoax 3... that was my first video I ever watched and I'll never forget being so inspired. I'm so thankful to know the people I had so much respect for are still able to live their lives with rollerblading almost (if not) at center stage.
Such a nice edit. Getting to see roadhouse skate again, and ramos killing it was epic. Im at one of my local parks every morning 6 am six days a week. Old man sh*t. Im about two hours away, but if I am in the area I am coming to skate early morning for sure. Those hoodies and shirts are ill. Keep grindin!!!
Good people with the best intentions will never change, you're awesome bro. Thank you putting the sport into the perspective it needs to be in. Jon Julio for president! Much love, keep killing it.
So rad to see Jon still carrying the torch. I stopped blading in 2001 but I still can't look at a handrail without thinking of doing a kind grind or topsoul down it.
Fond memories - I used to watch Jon and those guys in the 90s, always loved his style. Unbelievable he's still doing it, what a legend. I dread to think what would happen if I tried a rail like that now.
Very admirable for someone like Jon to be so dedicated to something he is passionate about. Crazy to think that someone who has been doing this for so long is still doing it and still in business.
Jon, so great to see you doing what you love and doing it well! Thank for all the support you gave in our years of holding the James Short Memorial Session. James would approve! And, your kids are adorable!
Dear Jon, I am 39 and grew up as the "aggressive" skate scene emerged and grew and remember getting your (and Randy's) autograph sometime in the late 90s at Woodward Skate Camp when I was in my teens. To this day I cannot look at a rail, ledge, or stairs without visualizing the endless possibilities on blades. I love watching your videos and am curious to know what the current market is in the inline world knowing how much has changed since the sport began. I wish you only the best and will look into your merchandise (this body cannot handle what it used to, amazed to see that you still skate regularly!).
Jon inspired me and my friends so much in our teens back in the 90’s. His style was the best, we always tried to take little bits of his style and recreate it out on the street and parks. Those were the days. Brought a big smile to my face to stumble across this video. It’s been 20 years or so since I bladed. Just brought a new set! Here’s to it!
i just got back into skating after a pretty long time off, and what I'm really enjoying now are the the life stories that are taking more of a center stage in videos like this. The tricks are amazing, but learning about everyone's journeys as they get older, develop, and mature as people is inspiring. It's very personal and you can understand a person more as you learn about their life and adversities. Fantastic video.
Wonderful man. I don’t skate anymore but Jon has always been striving to keep the sport looking creative/smart/fashionable against all odds and when you’re on the outside looking in a and seeing the dedication to his work and the culture it’s really commendable.
Cheers to you Jon. So much pride in blading, seeing Filipinos skate, you starting a company, your company taking a subcultural stranglehold, OGs coming back... Who else you like? A Tribe Called Quest. What a ride.
I've looked up to Jon since I was a young kid, I'm so impressed with him to this day. What a true role model. Thank you Jon for all youve done for this guy.
Wow Jon. I can’t tell you how back those clips take me. I must have watched them 100 times. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and the incredible inertia you’ve helped to inject into the industry for a whole new generation of memories. Cheers!!
Damn, Jon Julio was my icon growing up. His was the style I was trying to imitate. Props on the vision and the company Spizer rolls up: *Spice Girls track begins*
it's a big fucking deal that this guy runs this brand the way he does. thank you Jon Julio - you've done so much for skating. you deserve all the success in the world!
Just when I thought I couldn't love Jon Julio any more. What an absolute legend he is. Seeing those clips from vg4 brought back so many memories. I still know it word for word
Of all the people who have nut hangers in the industry, julio deserves it. Keep gettin those products out. Keep expanding the industry. KEEP THOSE ROYALTIES UP! ...and keep the coffee commin man!
Beautiful video 💙 and proud being a blader with this great community! Thank you all for your work! And this skates even fits my wide as hell feet haha! Greetings from Germanys North 💙
I remember watching the 90's groove vids, immediately after getting me and the boys to meet up at our middle school building in town and hit every curb we could skate! We owe it all to julio!
Thanks for everything legend 🙌 I’m sure the whole industry would melt if you put Roadhouse on and gave him a pro skate. He hella deserves it and that shit would sell a million 💪
From someone who skated in the 90s, we're all rooting for you to win, Jon.
Introduced me to tribe called quest.
There's something about watching this video that just makes me wanna skate even more and feel even more proud to be a rollerblader.
Amen!

So cool to see those legends still skating. I was just getting back from a street session. I'm 43, I was not wearing my helmet ;-D
Big up THEM skates and I want what Julio's been having for the past 25 years, dude hasn't aged!
He has a condition called ligma which makes people age exceptionally gracefully
Epic! Thanks Ivan! Thanks Jon! 💙💙💙💙
Damn, Such a good feeling. Smiling ear to ear through the whole thing. 🥏🥏🥏🥏
Jon, you were a huge reason I got into skating back in the 90s and a huge reason I got back into it in the 20's. Thank you for being real man!
