A good friend of mine is studying at University in Melbourne. Yet, the most baffling fact I learnt today, Saloni didi was that universities requires us to go through an agent! I cant seem to understand why! But definitely loved how precisely and amazingly you present detailed and crisp information in your videos! ❤

bro go to a legit and legal agent who is there to not scam u and tell u the right uni u can get into.. let's improve atleast 10% of our image in abroad like these mfs are the reason why we are not welcomed in abroad

Yes, Melbourne university does need you to apply through an agent. I've personally got in touch with some of the agents within my locality suggested by Melbourne university itself (check out their website) for my masters application and what I've gathered from them (the agency I'm talking about right now is Edwise International) is that I don't have to pay my application fee when I'm going through them. Since these are verified agents by the Melbourne Uni, they are paid by the university and not us. However, please have a proper conversation before assigning an agent guys! Some agencies may ask you to pay them, some may have a different process, etc. So be thorough.
Also, according to what my agent told me there have been a lot of fraudulent applications popping up from the Indian subcontinent region, which is why it's now mandatory to go through an agent. Don't know to what extent this is true.

This is a very sensible reason as to why Indians require an agent, I don't understand how this TH-camr could think of other offensive reasons.

Their requirements is absolutely crazy!! I am personally from the GCE A-level background and to have an AVERAGE score of 97% in best three subjects is only possible if you have grades above 96 in three of them. Is that even humanly possible? Damn.
Great video though 🤍concise and informative! Would like you to touch upon Germany application process as they have a lot of changes in their system this year like Australia but in the good ways. Pretty underrated in my opinion.

As an indian who now has a permanent residency here in Australia my 1 and only advice to students planning to come here is dont come here as a student, rather just come here directly as a PR holder by applying for a pr from india, the studies in Australia only gives you 5 points extra and its definitely not worth it, if you wanna study after you arrive here with a PR the fees are super affordable compared to if youre an international student

It's not offensive to create rules for people who want to visit the country - not even for tourism, but to study. Acquiring education abroad is a privilege, not an urgency - high school graduates can easily study in their countries (unless there is like a war), but we all want to gain more experiences and potentially benefit from better quality of education. Why exposing private life in activities and essays for universities in the US is not offensive then?
