I’m definitely thinking about that intake because it sounds really good. All I would do afterwards along with it is a baseline Ktuner or Hondata 93 octane tune or a custom tune with boost by gears.
Try putting a little petroleum jelly on the rubber/silicone parts before sliding them onto hard piping etc. It would have all went together easier and ensures a nice seal.
I’d suggest the use heat sink over the electrical tape so that it won’t go brittle over time and won’t leave icky residue specially since the cars exposed to certain climate conditions. Overall amazing build so far my guy!
For all you Honda lovers who sweat the type R I just bought a 2019 turbo hatchback used for 18k 17k miles with muffler delete now I will add a 200 dollar cold air intake maybe a 100 dollar chip and were good to go under 19k with 18 inch wheels and some meat on the sidewalls you could buy 2 of these with few mods for the price of 1 type R, best bang for your buck.
Did you notice any difference at all with the blitz strut? I heard about one vs multiple piece strut bars perform differently. Wondering if you felt any good differences from the bltiz one.
Im keeping 20 si coupe because it was my first car i was able to really have on my own and means so much. But i have a goal to get a type r in the coming years to have both, lotta love for these cars

As for the question about the intake, I THINK any relocation of factory sensors (which an intake will necessarily involve) has the potential to mess with the warranty. The issue is that, as I understand it, the dealer has to be able to prove that whatever failure you’re experiencing was a direct result of the modification. And of course they can always just lie or make something up, and then you have to fight it. IMO in a daily driver where you find value in the warranty, modding during the warranty period is always risky.
