amazing!! loved this game in the 80s! ive all the bits to build mine, 2 guns, marquee , base and screen, the cabint was shot, looking to build a OW cab but mame it, to play all shooters, nice work to get it running
I always love to hear the sound of this game...The years just melt away and I am a kid again, needing a chair to play this game. EDIT: I see a lot of harbor freight tools :)
@@operationrestore3308 I fixed the recoil action today =) still not able to hit any targets =( For recoil action - the two leads from the motor go to a connector inside the gun grip handle. The wires were too short and one of the pins had pulled out of the connector. I soldered on an extra four inches of wire to both leads to the motor. Reconnected the two pin molex connector and the recoil started working. I also tested voltages on the pins going to the optical sensor board. the the previous owner had connected the plug upside down so that might have messed things up. I think if I can find a source for a new optical board I'd be in good shape. Another TH-camr suggested www.twistywristarcade.com for the replacement board, but I was not able to find them on the website. I'll have to give them a call.
@@operationrestore3308 great video. Is it hard to find parts for operation wolf ? Like gun parts ?I’m about to purchase one and just trying to stay ahead of the game.

I’ve just picked up the same cab. Gun not working, not registering shots and recoil not working. Don’t suppose you have any tips? Thanks.
Have you a vid to upload tag me.

You got ripped off 😂
Depends how you look at it! Me it was a killer score.
How’s your operation wolf game doing ? Is it restored now ?
Once in a while i got to move the fuse on the gun power board. Because the fuse lose contact and when gun fires resets the board.
