a night outside the Louvre

this is the final video in the European Museums of Night trilogy.
after getting out of Marmottan, i wanted to get to a place i know well to see the moon finally rising. and to do so, what in Paris is better than the space outside the Louvre pyramids? it's one of the few places where the tourist ambiance is better than ever. it's like you never get tired of getting offered the same bouquet of flowers, because it's your favorite one and there's always something new to discover. see those two asians getting married? just thinking about how far they potentially come from to get their wedding photos is absolutely amazing. what about the lone father with his small daughter? what about casual lovers who just wanted to tell things to each other near the fountains? what about the sister who wanted to make his brother's day a little better? well, i never bring anyone here and that's for a good reason: if i were walking around with someone here, would've i still enjoyed the presence of a small hundred of unknown people? i'm sure not. and that's how the beauty of the Louvre manifests itself.
