There are a lot of emotions that accompany a hospital admission... here’s a glimpse into our day yesterday as Mary got settled in here at the hospital. Thank you all for you love & support!

I feel like they both are. I have a chronic illness, very different to Mary’s and I often get really short with people because I’m ill and tired and often so done. So I feel like it would take a lot on Mary’s part to work really hard on their relationship too. They’re so perfect for each other and I’m so happy they have each other. Peter is a huge supporter. They are both so strong ☺️

Poor Mary. I've been sick enough that I was puking in the sink and peed my pants, and then ended up with explosive diarrhea to immediately follow. It was horrible! I was 12 (21yrs ago) and I still remember. I hope you feel better!!
I stumbled on your channel a few days ago. I have never known anyone with CF so I know nothing about it, but it sounds horrific for you.
Know that I am praying for the 3 of you (Ollie included!).

I was singing and worshiping along with you in the car, sitting in bed trying to take the day one hour at a time. It was really special to feel like we were worshiping together and I didn’t even expect, you are a warrior and a conqueror! ❣️
It feels so lonely when you have to go in and out of hospital, I think it's very hard. When you just want to get well enough to walk the pooch and enjoy the sun on your face. Mary you are amazing, good luck, hope it's not too long before you get home. ☀️
As a fellow spoonie (EDS) and as a fellow sister in Christ, let me just say y'all are so good for my soul. Thank you for always reminding me that I'm not alone in my fight. Thank you for being real and honest about the emotions involved in a hospital admission. It's not easy. It's not simple, but it is the life we've been entrusted with and we'll press on until we are made whole again. Keep fighting dear one! You are a light in the midst of the darkness and scariness that is the chronic illness world. Trusting in the truth that He has you and will carry you through till the end. And to think my biggest problem of the day is not feeling too bothered to do a lot...when I’m healthy, and can get out and about, and I thank you Mary for reminding me to be grateful I am healthy, and not to take things for granted. Hope you feel better soon xox

Be STRONG MARY You are a FIGHTER. CRYING shows ALL the STRENGTH THAT YOU HAVE and HOLD INSIDE YOURSELF.You should be very PROUD. It is HEALTHY for YOU to RELEASE YOUR EMOTIONS. .
Last week I was in synagoge for Rosh Hasjana (jewish new year) and during the service I started coughing really hard and I was so ashamed at first, but then I thought about you and thought: I have CF, I shouldn’t be ashamed for that. I can be here and cough if I have to. I’m so grateful for your insights and just the way you share your journey. It helps me so much. Thank you!

I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for a few years now but this past year has hit me really hard. I’ve been in and out of the hospital and emergency room multiple times and rn I’m doing everything I can to avoid the need to go in again. Mixed emotions are the ones that get me crying the most. Gratitude, appreciation, feeling bad, having to go to the hospital, all of those combined is a load of emotion. It can feel so overwhelming. Crying it out can be a great release.

From the Kozak family in Oklahoma! Your Vlog is so inspirational! I am the mother of three adult children with a form of muscular dystrophy. We have the vest like you have, but they use it because their disease is progressive and their muscles continue to weaken. They have asthma to, so when they get congested they don’t have the muscle strength to cough up what is in their lungs. We use the vest in conjunction with the cough assist, which after the vest has loosened everything up, the cough assist pulls it up and out of their lungs. The equipment they have is so much help, it would be so much harder! We follow you and pray for you and are hoping your hospital stay goes as well as possible! I’m praying for you Mary. Im so sorry you had a very rough night on Sunday at home, I felt so bad, my tears welled up just listening to you. And my happy tears were also there just looking at Peter and seeing his love, support and comfort for you, it is so very touching and so very sweet. I love you too Peter. I’m glad Ollie gave you some laughs with his ear tucked in his collar, yep he is a service dog/companion in many ways, even to bring you laughter when most needed. My love and hugs are with the 3 of you, and I’m hoping and praying that last night- Monday night- wasn’t a difficult one, see you tomorrow!

Thy foot he'll not let slide, nor will he slumber that thee keeps. Behold, he that keeps Israel, he slumbers not, nor sleeps. // The Lord thee keeps, the Lord thy shade on thy right hand doth stay, The moon by night thee shall not smite, nor yet the sun by day. The Lord shall keep thy soul; he shall preserve thee from all ill. Henceforth thy going out and in.
