34:32 is basically a planned scare for the audience by the director because in thai (and other) bl series when a person wakes up all alone the day after it usually means that the other person has left them, so everyone all together got absolutely terrified that pran had just left and gone back home! can't believe it's gonna be the last episode already ahhh!

This episode was definitely the most awaited episode because it carries a legendary curse that almost every Thai BL goes through, and it's the episode 11 curse, and the reason why we say it's a curse because almost everytime a series reaches the 11th episode of the show, somehow the couples always end up breaking over misunderstandings, a fallout, accusations, etc and it ends up basically not being a very happy episode to go though so you can imagine how scared we were of this episode being cursed, and we were also looking forward to see if Bad Buddy would break the curse just like how they have broke other trends and stereotypes in most BL but they weren't able to (or perhaps they did💁♀️) but what i like about this episode is that although its a cursed episode, it's definitely different than the other cursed episodes that we've seen, if anything, this outdone any cursed episode out there, because it showed how PatPran "broke up" mutually, there wasn't any unnecessary misunderstanding, or accusations, or fights that don't make sense to the story or to the characters, there weren't any of that, what makes this cursed episode different from the others is how PatPran have been spending time together throughout this episode til the end of the episode, even when they "broke up", they celebrated their last day together and arrived at their home together, the entire episode showed us how they were just enjoying themselves away from the reality, and throughout their time together, they just fell in love with each other deeper if not more, and i think that's what made people lost at words when they realized that they "broke up", because we think it doesn't make any sense as they didn't have any drama going on while they were away together, because we seen them spend their time together and enjoying themselves, we just thought they wouldn't "break up" but the reality is, is that they both know that the time they're spending together with is not going to last very long, no matter how much they try to ignore or avoid it, it's just a matter of time before they need to face their reality, and so because of how much they truly know each other's mind and thoughts, no obvious words needed to be said, they didn't even utter the word "break up", they just both felt it when they spoke in between the lines, and i think that's what makes this cursed episode more hurtful than any other cursed episodes that we've seen so far.

@@sanjanasiswas Exactly. I think it's wiser and it costs less if they arrange the shootings according to the locations, so that they don't have to visit and set up a place many times. Since the rooftops scenes are the most pivotal for the story arc and have two of the most emotional moments (kiss/ep5 and cry-hug/ep10), it makes sense that the director shot it after the actors had already worked their characters and their chemistry enough. Sensible planning!

Hi you two. I wanted to address the comment Corey made about actors falling in love with one another. Both Ohm and Nanon were already friends when they took the roles as Pat and Pran. However, after finishing the series, their relationship deepened. It is my understanding that they consider each other as soulmates (whether this be in a platonic or romantic sense, I can't say.) But I know that they have admitted that they would be willing to die for one another. I included a link to a podcast of Ohm and Nanon being interviewed where they discuss this. I was early enough to watch this video when you first posted this, before the copyright block. I think you missed a few details. - Neither of them threw their SIM card, Pat pretended to do so, and Pran knew Pat was bluffing, so he too pretended to throw his SIM card. Pat admited first to faking it by teasing Pran who, in response, said he knew Pat wouldn't do it for real so he did the same. - Pran and Pat actually started having sexy time somewhere between the end of ep 7 and ep 8. There is no actual bed scene, but they are two college boys, in love with each other, sleeping in the same bed. Plus the way they tease each other, they have for sure already done it. - While it is suggested during the series that Pat is the top, this scene in this episode when Pran ask "Was I good ?" suggest that Pran was the top this time, and for the first time in their relationship. Hence the question. I love when you talk and make jokes while watching, and it's why I love your videos, but I think maybe you should pause the video when making comments, or when you do a joke that makes you laugh so much you stop watching the video for a few insants. Or if you don't, maybe think about going back a little, to be sure you don't miss a thing. I can't wait for your reaction to the last one.

I’m happy that this episode just focus on pat and pran it was like a calm episode of just them loving each other freely and I like how even when they had a disagreement and got upset they gave each other space and then pran went to go talk to him and compromised for pat but then pat also realized that pran really misses his mom and understood they needed to go home and actually deal with life because they can’t run away from it forever. I think it’s adorable that pat let pran lead in the mature scene this episode because it shows that even though pat is usually the top he loves pran so much that he’s willing to also let pran top him with no he’s if he wants to it just shows how open they are with each other and how pran ask was he good like boy you put the man to sleep I’m sure you did yourself justice and the song is so cute because the first song “just friends” was pran point of view and the second song “secrets” was pats point of view and now this one “our song” is like just them put together happy and in love. I’m happy that they got the break away from everyone though I feel like they really needed it because when you think about it the whole show ever episode something kinda big as happened back to back and so this was like the first episode when I was kinda mellow and chill and they just relaxed and forgot about everything stressful for them or at least tried to. I just adore their relationship like they are legit the definition of a healthy relationship that shows and people in real life need to look off of because most other bls the boys would have been broken up the first disagreement or hardship they had but they legit Stuck together no questions as Ted and without hesitation with each other I’m just proud of them they broke hella bl stereotypes in this show and I’m here for it. And we all need a uncle tod like he’s the real MVP and I love junior I swear when they come around it’s like they turn into his parents I love those three together . I love how the new song is legit the intro to the series and we legit all be listen to it loving it just for it to be part of the series like that was smart as hell to do . I feel like they basically broke the episode 11 Curse. And on the rock scene when pran was like it’s my turn they were basically talking about isn’t it his turn to take lead in the “adult business”.

If you want to watch another thai drama, I really suggest you to watch the TharnType series. It's more dramatic than Bud Buddy, a true roller coaster, the chemistry between the two main characters is something else and it's surely dirtier 🙈. Little bonus: the main characters are sexy, like, a lot 🤭. I bet you would like it.
Actually I wouldn’t say you the pronunciation of pran’s name as Pran with the R is wrong because from my understanding of Thai, the letter r can be pronounced as L in some words or you can chose to omit or pronounce it in some. For example, the word “krap ” can be pronounced as “kap “ as well as ”krap” (both correct ) Also in the confrontation scene with his mother in episode 10, Pran’s mother called him as Pran with an R. So I think both is correct.

i think PRAN's name pronunciation could be silent "R" or with "R". fyi Thai people struggles with "R" because sometimes they also change "R" to "L". the same for "S" when it's at the end of the word, you can't hear them say it. also "V" often changed to "W".

One of the big reasons why I love that scene where they tell you they slept together without telling you. Is because they're not clear on who toped the other. They put more realism on it because in real gay relationships there is not such a clear-cut top. So I believe that this couple switched in their sexual activities, such a small detail but I absolutely loved it
About the top bottom thing, I would like to say that this is a message from the director P'Aof. As P'Aof is a homosexual, he wants to break the traditional idea about the BL world. They don't need to call their partner husband or wife, they don't need a ring to propose but a man to man fist-bumping (epi 10 the proposing scene at the staircase of Artchitecture, this is my favourite scene), and also the top and bottom setting. They don't need all these things to make the relationship of a couple stronger, just love between them is enough.

Behind the scenes tidbit: Nanon (Pran) and Ohm (Pat) couldn't see each other during the final scene where Pran plays the guitar (equipment was blocking their line of sight), so they had to act without knowing what the other one was doing.

I don’t know who told you to pronounce it like Pam but if you listen to other characters in the series they’ll call him more like Paan or Pan. In Thailand to pronounce R voice usually make things look more formal because it’s the right way as it was actually written. so we normally pronounce it in the wrong way like Pan to make things look more casual. But not Pam because letter N is letter N. I think it’s like when London people love to say woh-er instead of water.

You were actually saying his name right. His name is ปราณ /pran/ but Thai people especially from Bangkok don't pronounce the /r/ as it is difficult to say it after a /p/. So you pronouncing the /r/ is actually the correct way to say his name น่ารัก /narak/ is the word for cute if you want to know! สวัดดี /sawatdi/ is the word for saying "hello" but sometimes they cut it to วัดดี /watdi/ which is less formal. Most of the time you'll hear สวัดดีครับ /sawatdi khrap/ for men or สวัดดีค่ะ /sawatdi kha/ for women. The last word is a form of politeness. Here again, for สวัดดีครับ /sawatdi khrap/, the /r/ might not be pronounce as it is easier I hope I was of help with all this explanation :)

Since the rooftops scenes are the most pivotal for the story arc and have two of the most emotional moments (kiss/ep5 and cry-hug/ep10), it makes sense that the director shot it after the actors had already worked their characters and their chemistry enough. Sensible planning!
@@orangsabuyoutube the director of the series explained that the kiss in episode 5 was the last recorded scene, (that explains why it was so intense) and that the kiss in episode 11 was the first recorded kiss, the scenes are not filmed in order but by location: beach, rooftop, etc.

Hi you two. I wanted to address the comment Corey made about actors falling in love with one another. Both Ohm and Nanon were already friends when they took the roles as Pat and Pran. However, after finishing the series, their relationship deepened. It is my understanding that they consider each other as soulmates (whether this be in a platonic or romantic sense, I can't say.) But I know that they have admitted that they would be willing to die for one another.

I was early enough to watch this video when you first posted this, before the copyright block.
I think you missed a few details.
- Neither of them threw their SIM card, Pat pretended to do so, and Pran knew Pat was bluffing, so he too pretended to throw his SIM card. Pat admited first to faking it by teasing Pran who, in response, said he knew Pat wouldn't do it for real so he did the same.
- Pran and Pat actually started having sexy time somewhere between the end of ep 7 and ep 8. There is no actual bed scene, but they are two college boys, in love with each other, sleeping in the same bed. Plus the way they tease each other, they have for sure already done it.
- While it is suggested during the series that Pat is the top, this scene in this episode when Pran ask "Was I good ?" suggest that Pran was the top this time, and for the first time in their relationship. Hence the question.
I love when you talk and make jokes while watching, and it's why I love your videos, but I think maybe you should pause the video when making comments, or when you do a joke that makes you laugh so much you stop watching the video for a few insants. Or if you don't, maybe think about going back a little, to be sure you don't miss a thing.

I’m happy that this episode just focus on pat and pran it was like a calm episode of just them loving each other freely and I like how even when they had a disagreement and got upset they gave each other space and then pran went to go talk to him and compromised for pat but then pat also realized that pran really misses his mom and understood they needed to go home and actually deal with life because they can’t run away from it forever. I think it’s adorable that pat let pran lead in the mature scene this episode because it shows that even though pat is usually the top he loves pran so much that he’s willing to also let pran top him with no he’s if he wants to it just shows how open they are with each other and how pran ask was he good like boy you put the man to sleep I’m sure you did yourself justice and the song is so cute because the first song “just friends” was pran point of view and the second song “secrets” was pats point of view and now this one “our song” is like just them put together happy and in love. I’m happy that they got the break away from everyone though I feel like they really needed it because when you think about it the whole show ever episode something kinda big as happened back to back and so this was like the first episode when I was kinda mellow and chill and they just relaxed and forgot about everything stressful for them or at least tried to. I just adore their relationship like they are legit the definition of a healthy relationship that shows and people in real life need to look off of because most other bls the boys would have been broken up the first disagreement or hardship they had but they legit Stuck together no questions as Ted and without hesitation with each other I’m just proud of them they broke hella bl stereotypes in this show and I’m here for it. And we all need a uncle tod like he’s the real MVP and I love junior I swear when they come around it’s like they turn into his parents I love those three together . I love how the new song is legit the intro to the series and we legit all be listen to it loving it just for it to be part of the series like that was smart as hell to do . I feel like they basically broke the episode 11 Curse. And on the rock scene when pran was like it’s my turn they were basically talking about isn’t it his turn to take lead in the “adult business”.

Actually I wouldn’t say you the pronunciation of pran’s name as Pran with the R is wrong because from my understanding of Thai, the letter r can be pronounced as L in some words or you can chose to omit or pronounce it in some.
For example, the word “krap ” can be pronounced as “kap “ as well as ”krap” (both correct )
Also in the confrontation scene with his mother in episode 10, Pran’s mother called him as Pran with an R. So I think both is correct.

They put more realism on it because in real gay relationships there is not such a clear-cut top. About the top bottom thing, I would like to say that this is a message from the director P'Aof. As P'Aof is a homosexual, he wants to break the traditional idea about the BL world. They don't need to call their partner husband or wife, they don't need a ring to propose but a man to man fist-bumping (epi 10 the proposing scene at the staircase of Artchitecture, this is my favourite scene), and also the top and bottom setting. Hi Corey , I’m Thai and I just here to confirm you that the way you call Pran with P R A N is literally right! I don’t know who told you to pronounce it like Pam but if you listen to other characters in the series they’ll call him more like Paan or Pan. In Thailand to pronounce R voice usually make things look more formal because it’s the right way as it was actually written. so we normally pronounce it in the wrong way like Pan to make things look more casual. But not Pam because letter N is letter N. I think it’s like when London people love to say woh-er instead of water.
The way Pat call him Is more like Parn actually.
