I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! I absolutely love lisbon... Travelled there for the first time about 5 years ago by myself and fell in love with city and the people. There's something so liberating about a solo trip and just getting lost in another city and culture. But I do take on board that travelling solo as a male and female is different. I would recommend Seville for your next solo adventure

I used to spend a lot of time in Lisbon so this was quite nostalgic for me to watch, I used to get air b&bs because the properties there are incredible, but that hotel? Soo dreamy on the inside! It’s hard to get a good view there unless you’re in a front room unfortunately
I just solo traveled in london and Lisbon! It’s a bit overwhelming at first but it’s one of the best experiences you can give to yourself and you learn so much about yourself internally. There is a season for every chapter big or small in your life. I’m so happy to see you on this trip! And yes just try to not look lost or be looking at your phone when navigating around and always trust your instincts. Best wishes 💚

Hi Sammi, I travelled a lot on my own when I was younger, it was so much fun but sometimes I felt lonely but... The best thing about travelling alone is meeting new people and definitely asking their contacts and sometimes I met up with them for dinner or drinks and it was amazing. I love Portugal, my family&I have been visiting Portugal for our holidays for years and always.

Next time you're looking for sunshine, head for the Algarve, not Lisbon. It's the same journey time and price from London. Also totally understand the sadness of leaving Portugal, I lived there for 3 years and it's my favourite place on earth ❤

Those men at the restaurant! 🙄 I know EXACTLY what you mean about meeting souls while traveling. Such a beautiful experience. Also, I think we were in Portugal around the same time (end of May). Hearing the crowd at Pink street cheer for their football team is beautiful. Portugal, especially Lisbon, is such a vibe. I will definitely go back! 🌿✨
