@Aithne Loeblich HOW?! I can get through books pretty quickly when I'm enjoying them but 50 😱 I think I need to be okay with dropping books I'm not enjoying more... Hope you have an amazing year for reading in 2022 😆
@@mariforgets ha! I can do it, just limit mindless binging or scrolling! Also, don't discount kids picture books. I like to go to my local library and read a random new one, like the kinds that you might read to kids at story time and then attempt to draw in their style, or rhyme the way they do. But I am planning to Reread the HP series, plus the play. That's 8 already. And the GoT books too! That's another 10. So I'm almost halfway there!! Just need to find a few new ones. I also have a series of The Flash Graphic novels I have yet to get to. 💚 let us know what books you like and why! I might check it out. Also want to reread the Sabriel series, and finish my audio books of the Outlander Series. If I only do those ones, I'll be more than halfway to my goal.
i love the idea of using the blank pages to record reading challenges! another thing that you might be interested in are read-a-thons where there are similar prompts for books to read over a certain amount of time (e.g. a halloween-themed read-a-thon during the month of october where you read spooky books). it's fun because you get to chat with other participants too!
@@mariforgets yeah, there are a bunch on instagram!! twitter and youtube are also good platforms to find readathons. often content creators will post “readathon TBRs” to promote readathons!!
I love the way this turned out and having a dedicated journal with all the challenges….atm I’m just tracking my reading as a page in my bujo and I have it as a daily goal which helps remind me to spend at least a few minutes reading each day. Im also in a standard midori for this.
@@mariforgets I know it sounds like a tall order 😆…but I took on board someone’s advice that if you only read for 5 minutes you will get through it, better than nothing. So I keep the book near me and if I have a 5 minute coffee/tea break I read rather than scroll social media. It’s amazing how fast you can get through your book! And I enjoy it because it’s no longer this big bit of time I need to find to enjoy my book 📖 📚 📕😉❤️💕
No I think that's really great advice! And it's a great replacement for mindlessly scrolling on your phone! I know that's how a lot of readers get through books because they carry a book around with them all the time 😆 You got this!
@@mariforgets looking forward to your update and how your reading goals go. It’s also lovely to hear what books other people enjoyed as it opens me up to new things to enjoy. 🤗💕
This is a great idea to add to my Bujo. I'm "testing out" a hobonichi techo cousin this year, in the hopes that it will keep me on track, definitely gonna eye this as a way to keep up with reading. And I definitely recommend reading the Song of Ice and Fire books if you haven't already for a book more than 600 pages, or listening to the audio book of the Outlander Series, narrated by Diana Gaboldon (SHES SO GOOD AT ACCENTS). Also, any of the Agathq Christie: Hercule Poirot books narrated by the guy who played (David Suchet) him in the TV show is also "Magnifique". And if you're asking, "well, where am i gonna get that?!" I recommend the Library, I got to borrow 'em and they were so effing good! Got me hooked on both series'
Aww thank you so much for the recommendations! I actually used to own the entire GoT book series but dropped them pretty quickly once the show started 🤣 I've always wanted to read The Outlander series, been on my TBR for the longest time! And "magnifique" Poirot books will be added, those are classics! I love using the Libby app for my audiobooks because they're 100% free 😌 Thanks again ❤️
This was so much fun to set up! Do you have any reading goals for 2022? 🤓📚
Read 50 books, that's my goal. XD ambitious, but when I want to I read like... 4 in a week. It's all about mindset.

I love the simplicity of your lay outs but the aesthetic is still beautiful. This is a great example of less is more.
Thank you so much ☺️
I love the Goodreads challenge printable!!!! Please do share if you can. This is such a great setup :)
Those papers are absolutely gorgeous!
Yes they really are! 😆
