    Hi Mari! I’m slowly getting into reading more than just graphic novels/manga so I’m back here watching your videos from inspiration. 🙂 I hope you are doing well and I love watching your videos for comfort haha.

    I love this method it's much easier to carry around. I just have notebook that I keep lists of books I want to read. Authors to look up. For 2023 a travelers notebook is looking better. Great video. I'm a new subscriber

      welcome friend!! honestly that's the beautiful thing about travelers notebooks, they're compact and easy to take with you. there's also a passport size if youre looking for something even more portable!!

    Yey! Your reading journal looks very adorable and fun to use. ♥ on days when I read multiple formats, I just track down which format I read the most. Hope you have fun with the trackers. Happy reading!

    I use a TN passport as reading journal. It is so easy to take with me. My regular TN works as my daily planner.

    I love your spreads and this gave me so many ideas for how to set up my journal for 2023 - going to have to try using tombows to break up the space! (and omg diego jumping up to say hi was the cutest thing I've seen all day)

    I really liked your goals, particularly your last one so I'm modifying and using it too. I've been using an insert for my reading too, but I used a stack of books on one side to track the books I buy (and color them in when I read them) and a lined page on the other to track the books I read. I number them so I know how many I've read at the end of the year, and I switch colors every month. This year, I'm trying something totally different, The Bookworm Life Planner.

    I've been trying to keep a better list of my reads over the year so how you did things is super helpful (I was making things too complicated again🤣)

      sometimes simplicity is the best way!! honestly i had fun tracking tons of stuff before but now i just wanna slow down and focus on the reads rather than all the other stuff like i used to hehe

    Not gonna lie, I took screenshots of all your spreads because they are soooo effective and cute! I’m definitely going to create a space for anticipated releases for anime. xD
    I’d love to try a buddy read in your book club if that’s gonna happen!! I’m debating on an ereader at the moment, but even if I don’t get one hopefully I can find the books of the month at the library!
    Also… your creative reading journal thoooo 😍

      ahh i hope these spreads help you out (or are at least fun to make)!! i'm not sure if we're going to be more public about our buddy reads, but i definitely want to start a book club if people are interested :-) if all else fails, you can always read e-books on your phone/tablet/computer!!

    I've only been counting reading books that were new to me. That way I'm not counting something that I've ready 20 times already.

    i love this so much. I set up a. Hobonichi weeks to be my reading journal but i am itching to get back into my travelers notebooks and i didn’t even consider using it as a reading journal. Thank you.

    I'm curious, how much time a day do you spend reading books? I want to start reading more, probably going to start with just a book a week for now because I can only take an hour or two every day to read. :) Because of this video I think I'm going to make a reading journal too!

    • @mysteriesofmar
      @mysteriesofmar  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      it really depends!! i would say that i also on average read an hour or two a day, but only because i either dont read at all or read a whole bunch. i also listen to a lot of audiobooks while at work, so that helps! but i think as long as youre enjoying what youre reading and going at a pace youre comfortable at, then that's perfect😊👍there's really no rush to read unless youre like me and you just like to live in other's stories rather than your own ahahaha
