Day 2 of our Robe - Beachport trip for the Battle Series between Dave and I.
My 200 series land cruiser vs Dave’s Y62 patrol.
This episode sees us playing a heap more on the beach and sand dunes for some awesome fun. Dave also takes us down some scratchy tracks that leave my car with some decent new pinstripes!
Watch Peter’s 351 Cleveland powered GQ Patrol smash the dunes like they are nothing, and see how my 200 drove some dunes on first go (unlike Dave’s Y62 😉)

Awesome video guys. I have a V10 Touareg and absolutely love taking it through the dunes when I get the chance, but I have to admit I would love to have a 200 Series Cruiser!
Touareg would go alright through the dunes for sure.

Great video mate, looks like everyone had a blast. It's interesting how shit the modern fat arsed busses are at going up dunes :-)
Hahaha. I think they all done alright. The newer ones beat all the older ones with the exception of the hugely modified GQ.

Great vid mate just subbed. Going to Robe for 5 days camping at Stoney rise, was going to only do some beach driving and fishing. Now i think i will attempt some dunes, if the Ranger will do it, bit worried about tyre size though ! As it will be a first for me and my kids !
Tyre size won’t matter to much it’s all about pressure.

My tyres are at 15 for this trip. And for a 3.5 ton car I think that’s far enough for what we were doing.
@@Australian4x4Adventures agree... popping the tyre off the bead is the last thing you want in soft sand....
Moral of the story buy a Nissan 😁
P.s Typical Toyota driver bragged when the Nissan driver misjudged his 1st attempt saying it took him 2 goes..me in my toyota only one.. I think the host forgot he couldn't get up the dune before at all 🤣' typical Toyota driver 😂🤣
