Great content mate, We did the same trip at Christmas, funny we took a group photo on the same Rocky look out just past canunda. It’s something different/ fun, fishing on the beach is not to bad either. Only thing for us at Xmass is no camp fires allowed Look forward to seeing past 2 Cheers

Sand exposing the weak point in any vehicle as always. Considering the well known slab per recovery fee you must have had plenty of free beer for the trip!!
Haha it definitely does! It’s pretty hard on the cars! Well we did get a slab and a 6 pack overall but that’s a little light from all the recoveries we did haha! Cheers
@@DanielKistler Considering how close some of the vehicles were to the water and being swallowed by the incoming tide that amount of beer is way to light. Years ago blokes would just leave if you didn't agree to a slab !!

I've got a 1994 eighty series Sahara that I'm about to pull off the road and drop a brand new ppump 5.9 turbo diesel Cummins with 6 speed Allison trans. I'm in South OZ. When it's back on the road I'd come 4WD'ng any day with you guys , you look like you guys like a good laugh! Can I ask a question? What brand and size are those rims on the eighty series? They look nice.

Definitely head back mate, awesome fun! Haha yeah the fan definitely works. Hottest mine got was 95 on the 30 degree day giving it a floggin. Hard to say because only 1 of the 4 new shocks is currently in the car haha!

I stayed at the Southern Ocean Caravan park at beach port this year with friends from the Dandenong Ranges Four Wheel Drive Club.
The Southern Ocean Caravan park has an alcove out the back with a fire place and sheltered from the wind.

Wind noise always wrecks good footage. Might be time to invest in a wind sock.
