Ravel is Jamaica's best player.
We have a few quality players and Ravel is one of them. Special talent.
The man can do things with thee ball that no other midfielder in the entire region can do.
His attitude let him down earlier in his career. Otherwise he would have been in a category with the best midfielders in the world imo. That ability is still there and his attitude is now good and has been for some time so we got him at the right time.
Ravel is the only press resistant midfielder that we have and will be crucial in the near future if we plan to play out from the back.

Agreed 100%. One good thing is that if things had gone perfectly for him in the past, we wouldn't be watching him against Concacaf teams in Jamaica colors now .

Finally a system of play reggae Boyz can build on for 2026. Not all about wins when we play a lot more friendly, but to imprint the culture of ball possession, playing freely and comfortable when skills are needed, and building chemistry with the core players.
I've been saying this for years. You can't score what you don't have. And kick and run down ball only give the ball back to your opponent to run round you and tired you out!
Goal scoring become easy when you can make quick and simple one-two touches.
I agree, definitely need a system of play that facilitates our player....we have players with the ability to play proper attacking football so why not.
If we can get Lewis Baker to link up with Ravel in the midfield, we will be much more dominant in games to come, especially vs CONCACAF teams.
I strongly believe that if there was only 1 player that we NEEDED to add to our squad after the tour of Saudi Arabia it was Lewis Baker...this player is excellent in every phase of play and he definitely would have helped especially with our struggles of playing out from the back....this was a tactical analysis I did on him about 10 months ago

The analysis of our buildup vs El Salvador is a clear indication of our progress. Just look back at my analysis of our midfield problems and you'd realize that now we always have a central support behind the 1st line of pressure which was sometimes missing previously.
