I haven’t had an opportunity to spend much time with a Mendocino, so I can’t really say. But all of the other recent Grez guitars that I have played have been very good.
As always, love your playing and love that guitar! But wow… That tailpiece is SUCH an epic, egotistical failure on the part of Grez… LOL! Not to mention, it looks like that upper corner could easily dig into your wrist, if you’re not careful?! 😬
