Thank you, Jordan. That was absolutely wonderful. I know online there are rail fan groups. If they don't know about this restaurant/museum, they should. They'd love it. Thanks, too, for the glimpses of precious Jah. He's such a dignified and adorable boy.
I love how Jah runs. He's so cute. I love the idea of having lunch on the train. The picture of the man with the leopards is Gunther Gebel Williams. He worked with Ringling Bros. I really enjoyed this. Thanks for bringing us along. You and Jah stay safe and take care.
My dad told me a story that he did run away with the circus when he was a kid. They called my grandfather and told him they had him. They returned him before they left the state of South Dakota. Great story from his life in the 1930s.
My uncle did the same thing in the 60s. He was 13. Their trains went behind the houses across from them and he jumped in the car that had all the costumes and rode from Jacksonville florida to Sarasota. When they found him, they called my grandma since she was a stay at home mom (my grandpa wasn't as worried but worried about him). They told her next time they were keeping him. He ran away later on to the circus again 😅. He did that until his mid 20s. He left when he was 16 or 17.
We benefit so much from your tour guide and food critic abilities. I love that the authentic circus train cars have been preserved in such a marvelous way.
WOW! What a place to go and eat. Fascinating, interesting and I assume good food. Your lunch looks so yummy. I will put this on my list of things to go see as I am not too far away. Thanks for sharing and thanks for recommending it.
Jordan Thank you for all the hard work you do i really enjoyed this vlog for those of us with mobility issues couldn't walk that long train & learning about circus safe travels you & Jah
I lived in Sarasota 1975-1979. One of my junior high school teachers was married to one of the Great Wallendas. She showed us a documentary of them in class.
Jordan, Love this vlog! I love all the memorabilia at this Ringling Bros Restaurant! Very Unique to have a train as a place to eat. Thank you for sharing! I loved it!
Hi Jordan (& little Jah😊) Just love all your VLOGS! It's a lovely way to see the world & it's attractions, for those of us who are unable to do the traveling. Thank's Jordan!! Keep up your fantastic work 😊
Jordan, what a great video! Thank you for always researching and bringing us the coolest places. I am so sorry about your friend, and what a loving tribute you did for you!! Have a wonderful day and can't wait to see your next adventure!! Stay safe, I hope your Grandpa is doing well!❤
Hi Jordan, It’s nice to see Jah doin’ his thing. That restaurant & memorabilia is awesome. So interesting. Thanks again for the great subject matter. My family, when I was younger would go to the Great Circus Parade in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The circus would arrive in train cars from Baraboo, Wisconsin. Ernest Borgnine was a clown in the parade. If you are planning a trip to Wisconsin visit the Circus World Museum in Baraboo. Take care & give Jah a belly rub from me 😃
That was really awesome to see all of that. Thank you Jordan for another great video. Love the work you do and I hope you never stop make videos like this and documentaries on famous people.
Circus performer and animal trainer Gunther Goebel. When I was a face painter at Circus World theme park(my first summer job in highschool), he would often come and train other animal handlers. I'm so glad they have done away with the animal acts. I saw first hand the treatment.
I heard of train cars being converted into diners, but a full blown restaurant is a very unique. I hope they keep getting the donations to get old car restored.
I remember my parents taking me to the Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Bailey Circus in the 1970s. Nice to see someone restore old Circus train cars. Thanks Jordan for showing us this place.
Thank you so much for sharing this Restaurant. Such a awesome historical place. So glad it was restored. I hope we can make it to that part of Florida one day.😊
Hi ya Jordon. I started watching you when you first started. Keep up the exercise, the salads from TJ's, the juicing, and the coffee - I remember those vlog shots! Peace out!
Hi Jordan, great seeing the Jahster making new friends. Oh, it looks lovely inside with all the old memorabilia and the actual dining area. Loved all the old photos. They have done a really good job with all of that. Great vlog Jordan.
As a kid, I love the circus and all of the animals what is so sad is that our kids and their kids will never experience the fall circus experience wish they could come to some kind of a compromise and allow things to be back to normal again it was a big part of my life in the lives of my family to see all of the circus act and the animals also
I was at a history talk last week about train Preservation & the old train station in my town. Sadly the train station here is gone and all of the trains too so I'm very glad to see its not the case here.
I love trains and the circus. What a great combination. You always show us the neatest things and the food looked good too!! And of course it's always great to see the one and only Jah!!😊
Getting to enjoy a meal in an actual circus train car is a great experience. It's always a great day when we get to see Jah. A very fascinating vlog. Thanks Jordan.
One amazing circus video it reminds whenever go to see the circus when I was young I always had a blast when I went thank you for sharing and blast you eat at the food looks delicious ❤❤
You never fail to give us interesting places to see! I think I'd be in there for hours looking at all the photos and items. Great video! Now where will you take us to next??
It can’t be easy researching cool stuff to vlog. But you manage to find such a nice array of places to show us armchair office stiffs out here. Thank You.
I’ll have to try that place - cool tid-bit on a poster I saw while you went around - the Allan Hill ( tent / elephant ) poster . I met him a few times - he was super good friends with my uncle - David Jaco the former heavyweight boxer who fought every big name you can think of . Allan was a nice man , he really helped my uncle out a lot when my uncle lived on Siesta key . Jaco’s sons ( twins) each have their own gym in Sarasota .
Hey Jah having fun in the sun nice day for it . What a magic time it was by train for all those famous performers . Those were great times for the circus ,thanks for climbing on board this iwas worth the visit Jordan.
This is really cool to see! My grandma lived in Sarasota, and I visited there in 1989! I did not go in this restaurant, obviously. I remember seeing the Ringling Hotel from the outside, it was later demolished, but was such a cool looking building, as was his house, which was a museum. I am not sure if you went to his house or not? Not sure if you can film there anyway, back then you could not take photos inside it.
This looks like a fun stop. We once stayed in a caboose as a hotel in Pennsylvania. They had a railcar restaurant there but nothing like this. Will add to my list to do, thanks!
I wished I was even slightly near this restaurant/attraction. Bob’s seems like a true, amazing place. I have been to a Ringing B & B Circus. It was great, thrilling, scary but most of all…exciting! Thank you for your video.
i love the rudy docky picture and the cab calloway pic and the norman christian with her touching the horse, they have some clown pics there, plus the pic with babe ruth and the band, that is a nice batch of memorabilia, and like the drawing of all the hands with the autographs, you know the thing is when i was a kid i never went to riverfront coliseum except when my mom took me to see SESAME STREET LIVE, AND THE BARNAM BROS CIRCUS. YOU REMEMBER SESAME STREET LIVE, DON'T YOU JORDAN
I remember my dog it was a Doberman Pinscher I'm used to walking him died with kidney failure who was the age of 10 years old Jordan also was still missing him
I live and work in Fort Myers so it's not very far for me to go there. I have never went up there to see the circus stuff but plan too. This is so cool. Nice video 👍🏼😎
My grandfather and two of his sisters worked with the circus. He rode a motorcycle and did tricks one was some type of ring of fire. He also did boxing ,diving & singing a multi talented guy. His two sisters worked as well one was into all the daredevil stunts like walking and diving from heights ,she also at one time walked of the wings of air planes. I don’t know what my one aunt did she was more the bookkeeper, payroll type I think . The reason all three of them worked for the circus is that my gr gr grandma is somehow related to someone who was in the owners family, somehow by marriage perhaps. My grand father born 1906, moved to Boston near some family & settled when he got married 1925.
I wish I had known this when my parents lived in Punta Gorda, but it must not have been built cause they surly would have take us they loved that stuff and my Dad had a friend who managed Clyde Beatty Circus so he would do the snow cone machine when they came to Willimantic, great times, ate so many snow cones I peed for days lol ty Jordan great memories 😎
I live in the area, Nick Wallenda has a place he practices out off i75 and university and the members of the flying wallendas who died during preforming in the 60s are buried in a Manasota Memorial Park in Bradenton.
I love j a h so much that I rather have watched him run sniff and play with the other dogs. Always enjoy your vids but it was so good to see the j a h s t e r, I really miss seeing him
Keep him away from the lakes, here, we have aggressive alligators in Sarasota. Also, Pee Wee Herman is from here! Enjoy our town!! Your videos rock! Check out the Waffle Stop, it's Elvis themed because he ate there. Lol

I love Sarasota and the connection to the Ringling Bros Circus. Circuses take me back to my childhood.
Great idea to save the history and memories of Ringling Brothers. And I love trains, so it's perfect!
I loved this video and story. Thanks for taking us along, Jordan.

the end of the circus is best.
