what are you talking about? 4 years are actually TOO long for a team to reign in this modern era that their achievement is considered impossible to replicate. Usually a national team wins a cup and goes downhill just one year later, couldn't even go through the quarter-final at the next tournament. (And just leave the Brazilian in the 50s out of this, things were different back then)
They're the most successful team this century with 2 Euro cups and a World Cup and arguably the greatest squad of all time. The fact they did all that in 4 years makes it all the much better. You must be Italian.
