Bodhi says "Thank You!" And I appreciate it! But, yeah I'm sure I wanted to hahaha. Sometimes I lose my cool just like everyone else.

that looks like a fun track, perfect size. I am new to karting, im a 16 year old first gen racer so I have to pay for and set everything up myself and to be honest im not very good at setting up karts, but with this dry Ohio weather we have been getting recently has actually worked in our favor because every one is on a semi even playing field.

Oh very cool! That's one of the good things about karting. It's a great place to start out and be able to race without a lot of support. And doing everything yourself is a fast way to learn for sure.

I’m the same way paying for everything my dad drag races for a living and builds race cars so I at least have a nice shop to roll my kart in but I am just now getting fast and started this year

I have not. I've heard its a pretty big, fast track though.

I would definitely recommend playing with stagger more then weight place ment leave a 5lb pick in the right front nose maybe even add a 2 or 3 lb pick on top. If the kart is tight increase rear stagger should loosen up the kart or if it's to loose decrease stagger. Messing with weight placement or moving the spindles hight wont let you know what the karts liking or not liking especially if you stick with the same stagger all around. Remember stretch the tire 1 inch taller then what you're after say right rear is 32 15/16 and you need 33 and 1/4 stretch it to 34 1/4 to get it there. It's nice having 6 sets of tires to swap to to change stagger. Hopefully this helps you fella out some.

Thanks for the tips. I will give it a try. It was something we were looking at doing. It is definitely good to have a few sets of tires for sure.

Hoping it helps you fellas out. Yes I figured out running 2 sets one soft set and a harder set it's hard on a guy so I ended up getting 4 more sets set each set where I wanted them to swap out to change my stagger also set some of the left rear tires different sizes to be able to keep running my fast right side tires and swap the left rear to one of my others to be able to change my stagger just incase I need to change stagger and not having to swap the right rear and left rear to change it. Just to make it easier on me and the crew at the track. I've started with 1 1/2 front and 1 in the rear. Not sure if it's a good starting point for you fellas just a thought. I'd definitely find someone up there that has ran or is running the same chassis as you and the boys to get it close to what you or the boys like.

Yeah you want to have several sets I have over 12 sets in my tire prep trailer which is some hunk of shit in the back yard and I will usually take from 2-7 sets with depends on how the track will be that day

Try running Maxxis if that track is hard an dry you don’t want them no softer than a 50

I have mostly been running Charger Legacy for clone. My numbers are 62% cross, 57% left, and 53.4% rear. Seems to be pretty close to what the kart needs depending on the track conditions.
