Stress is definitely bad for Pd as observed on patients as they say their energy is limited so no energy to cope with extra stress. They say the energy is just enough for them to do the basic .Subjective observation. Definitely diabetes will damage the brain as sugar make cellular proteins sticky and dysfunctional.Healthy life style variables to prevent such diseases Pd when developed after many decades it is perhaps too late .Please focus on the prevention as it becomes more .

If, for patients with the GBA mutation, the misfolded GCase protein produced by that defective gene is collecting on the exteriors of lysosomes, blocking other enzymes from entry into the lysosome, as well as proteins to be degraded, then wouldn't Ambroxol make such problems worse (for patients having the mutation) if it increases levels of GCase? Or does it somehow only increase levels of unmutated GCase (I.e., that inherited from the parent who did not have the GBA mutation)?

When scientific community can develop Vaccines for Covid 19 in a record time as it had very high motality worldwide because of instant massive funding .I would request Michael J Fox foundation to help fund Stanford make vibrating gloves available .Or any other research to target Parkinsons disease modifying therapy targeting the alpha syn nuclei aggregation from playing havoc in Parkinson's disease progression .

I too am astonished about no mention of the PD glove, the Symbyx device, Infared light and wearables / no invasive approaches in general. But then again I am not as I have found the medical community more interested in drugs and surgical approaches. To support that opinion if exercise is so effective why aren’t their PD specific exercise gyms nationwide or worldwide? There are actually some out there but there should be many funded by the medical community and or governments.
