Modern-day descendants of a mystical bloodline are hunted by an ancient evil hell-bent on using their life force to unleash his banished army on the world. Will the Furies find a way to work together and embrace their destiny to defeat Mage before anybody else gets hurt?
ABOUT:
Celestial Fury is a Power Rangers fan-film originally shot to commemorate the franchise’s 15th Anniversary; inspired by Ron Wasserman’s rejected Mystic Force Rock Demo. The project was conceived and produced by a team of film school students in Chicago with the help of a local production company in early 2007.
Produced before cosplay and fan-films became ubiquitous amongst the #RangerNation fandom, Celestial Fury was created as the filmmaker’s set-up story to adapt the Mahou Sentai Magiranger source footage - introducing their approach to a team of Rangers ["Furies"] and the “What If” premise of the series that could have followed.
An early rough cut was previewed on the first night of the first ever Power Morphicon [Friday June 22, 2007], while a second version close to the final cut premiered at the second Power Morphicon [Saturday August 28, 2010].
Fifteen years since its first preview, Celestial Fury has now been remastered and recolored in celebration of its 15th Anniversary, with a brand new opening credits and a cameo by Power Rangers SPD Green [Blue, and Red] Matt Austin as Dave.

This was so good! Sure it doesn't look as polished compared to productions in 2024, but you can tell there was so much passion and pride that went into it when this fan film was made! Kudos to all the actors and the entire crew!
This is phenomenal, the cast, the characters, the outfits, the stunts, the comedic timing, I love it, 10/10.
I would watch this entire season and I hope ya’ll maybe make another in the future ❤
This was truly amazing and the single best PR fan film I've ever seen. I've no idea how they managed to flesh out all these characters in 20 minutes but damn, incredible character work. Wish I'd known this existed sooner but I wish there were either more episodes or the original 95 page script was produced. All that is so say the only negative thing about this is that there isn't more of it. Excellent work.

This was well thought out and nicely done! Loved the attention to detail in incorporating lore from other seasons. For this to pre-date Mystic Force is quite impressive. Congrats to the cast and crew for making this happen! 👍🏾👍🏾

@@jedipadwan20 A true, live action sequel is unfortunately not likely for a number of reasons. But hypothetically, yes - they'd have access to everything the powers entail!

I still remember seeing this way back at I want to say PMC1.
Ron Wasserman's original soundtrack was scored against that first cut we premiered at PMC1, so the edit or bones of the film has stayed the same.
But we got to build on all of that for the next cuts with the help of some very talented and generous friends: the entire film was recolored; some new shots were dropped in; we had incredible VFX work layered in throughout; and we rebuilt 100% of the sound from scratch in post-production (from dialogue to the sound design).
Maybe we'll upload a clip from the original sometime if there's interest!
Cant wait to see more of this. Ranger fan films are awesome to see.

Since Ron's Mystic Force Rock Demo was our theme, we wanted the ringtones to match! It was an homage to the original MMPR Theme Song and the matching communicator chime.

So, is this like a spiritual follow-up to Power Rangers Mystic Force?
Celestial Fury's story was actually developed in late 2005 before Mystic Force aired, inspired by Ron Wasserman's rejected MF Rock Demo Theme; though we didn't shoot until 2007. CF is more like a "how we would have adapted Magiranger for Power Rangers."

Can you do an episode of how it all began?
If that ever happens i want it be like in flashbacks instead of a full origin episode.
It took him 17 years to "perfect" and release this so... you'll be in for a long wait.
Awesome, I'm looking forward for the next episode and to see the rangers morph in their ranger suits.
Doing more is unfortunately pretty logistically impossible at this point; but we would've loved to see where this series could have ended up!

Where is the ancient yellow fury putty patroller looking guy?
Unless the yellow ranger wears black, which would be interesting if the Rangers wore their colors.
The Yellow Ancient Fury became Mage [the villain], which is why he's linked so closely to Duncan [the modern day Yellow Fury] in the story.
The Yellow Ancient Fury was transformed into Mage by the Sword of Eidolon, which devoured Mage's soul after he accepted it from Xyraq [the would-be Big Bad of our hypothetical season, who would have been adapted from Absolute God N Ma/Octomus].
Mage's morphing abilities [and Xyraq's army] were sealed away by his four remaining Ancient Fury teammates - causing an energy surge that killed them and alerted Yorik to investigate; which happened moments before Yorik's flashback scene we see in the final film.
