- My first visit back in the USA is to the fabulous Ikonick Collection in Miami, Florida! Barry Skolnick's private garage of supercars and artworks has continued to expand with around 15 new arrivals to check out, and what a place it is! / ikonickmotors
From the Pagani Huayra Roadster, to the Ferrari F40 and F50, via a crazy Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, Mercedes SL65 Black Series, and incredible Ferrari Monza SP2, the gathering of cars at Ikonick continues to expand. Additional new arrivals including the Porsche 911 Speedster, Spyker C8 Laviolette and C8 Spyder, some classics and restomods and above all, a huge array of new art pieces found on the walls and throughout the galleries.
Join me for a walkaround tour of the gallery, with over 100 cars in total and a lot to take in. This is arguably the greatest collection of such items in the world, and truly breathtaking to explore.

Absolutely done tasteful. That one in Dubai with the mirrors was a complete headache you couldn’t appreciate the Cars because your eyes were hurting 😁 Less bling and letting the Cars do the talking. In fairness this Owner makes the dubai collections look poor. If this collection had a Aston DB5 Bond Car and a 250 Ferrari california it would be near perfection.
Tbh I prefer a garage that isn’t as fuzzy as this one. Just extremely clean and let the cars pop and be the centre of attention
@@SWR112 Isn't this the place that held parties? If it is the design was so that people could appreciate the cars and the art. I don't think it holds a candle to the cars or the art work that Jay Leno has for each of his displays.

You don't earn this sort of money on any salaried job. You earn this sort of money by owning and running a company where all (or a large percent of) the profits of the business are yours to keep.
I don't know what's more impressive; the collection itself or Tim's encyclopedic knowledge of the cars.

@@rtorbs Because when you are a true car guy it is not about the other cars you have and what you've experienced it is about the car itself. Also 90% of the cars are investments as they go up in value and they are liquid assets.

Maybe a tad bit over $100 million, his most expensive cars are going to be the mc12 corsa and Apollo IE. those two alone probably could fetch $15 million.
@@biunzRS I doubt those two are worth 15 million together. The MC12 corsa last year was valued at 2-3 million and the Apollo IE is probably worth somewhere around 2-6 million. It’s hard to tell with the IE since none have come up for public sale but I don’t think the IE is worth 12 million after 2 years.

Its understandable when you're a car nut and thats all you think about every day lol. Im kinda the same way with GM vehicles, corvettes, camaros, ctsv's, chevy ss, HSV's, and most newer exotics as well. But I admit, he's got me schooled with the production numbers and paint codes 😄. I usually just remember the performance & engine specs etc.

Looks like the family business, Solgar Vitamins sold for $425 million in the late 1990s, when Allen Skolnick was President. Despite the sale, the Skolnick family remained in control of the company, specifically, Rand, Barry's brother taking over. Rand passed away in 2008. Barry lost both his parents in 2013. Looks like Barry does a lot of charity work but my god that's a lot of wealth tied up in cars when so many people are struggling for basic necessities. I mean, it's a really gorgeous collection of cars. Barry Skolnick has great taste. The artwork. The cars. However, maybe Barry could have one Senna and 200 kids could have their school lunches paid. It's just so much for one person to have...there are only 365 days per year. There's not enough time for one person to truly enjoy and drive all of these cars.
