I did some reading on the wiki and you can also use any veggie or fruit in the slingshot, so I'm going to try speed run eggPLANTing Clint. Not only is it phallic and he would probs be kinda homophobic about it (I mean he is an incel so ofc some light homophobia is expected), but eggplant is also an ingredient in one of Emily's loved gifts (survival burger) so it is kind of a mockery too. Anyway long story short, I'm going to try my first ever speed run (on switch): the eggplant%
I just did eggplant% and my time was 1 hour 6 minutes and 45,2 seconds. At first I thought I would just sleep through until fall, which makes sense. But while waiting for fall I checked the travelling cart every friday and sunday for eggplant. No luck. On two diffirent good luck days in spring I managed to get to floor 40 for the slingshot and at 9.10 on the 6th of autumn I got the bitch with an eggplant to the face mohahaha
If it's too long ignore it. I don't really like Elliot but a few things to say about him in his defense. He's not a spoiled rich guy, he's a bit snobbish but not a horrible person. Yes he did call Gus bartender but it's literally the less problemantic thing people can pick to be mad at in this game. He didn't "destroy" his importance as human being. I'm not saying Gus deserved to simply be called bartender, they all know each other and definetely are friends for a long time but it doesn't make Elliott a horrible person just for calling Gus bartender when LITERALLY drunk. Drunk people are more honest or different when drunk but it doesn't mean that what they say is the truth and most of the time they say things that they actually would have never said and the "when you are drunk you say all the things that you kept for yourself" isn't true. Gus is right to be mad about it and Elliott should apologize (hoping he remember what he said or someone tell him that he said something rude to Gus) about it but overall he didn't belittled Gus as a human being just because of that. His famous 10 heart event, everyone is afraid of that and call it problematic. YOU decided to commit in a relationship with Elliott to the point where that moment arrived. YOU reached a level of comfort that made you get married. Tell me, how is that exactly a problematic and creepy behavior? You committed to a relationship, this means that this action is completely normal. It's not like it was the 2 heart events, it was literally the 10 hearts event which happens when you two are married. Having a date with your HUSBAND in a boat and kissing your husband on said boat isn't problematic or creepy. That's literally Harvey 10 heart event but instead of a Balloon it's a boat. Following this reasoning your husband Harvey is just as problematic or dangerous as Elliott for bringing you who knows how many feets off the ground and kiss you. I'm not really a fan of Elliott and I can understand if other people might not like him for his snobbish personality or other things but please stop with the dumb "Elliott is problematic and creepy" lie, just say you don't like the character without making up lies to make the hate justifiable. Your opinion is important and have to be respected so there's no need to make up fake things about Elliott to make it valid. So stop hating on Elliott with some excuses to make valid the hate, hate on Elliott if you want but not in a way that will ruin other people fun or make them feel like they are actually doing something wrong with liking Elliott, this will also make new players quickly judge Elliott without actually knowing him. It's like the "liking Penny/Shane is just a savior complex thing" which I won't talk about because this comment is already long, but the short answer would be "No, not everyone who likes Penny/Shane is someone with a savior complex"

But Harvey also kisses you in a hot air balloon, doesn't ask for permission but there isn't an option to say you are uncomfortable. Tbh, most of the marriage candidates don't ask for consent before being intimate. These intimate moments only happen after you are in a relationship, so maybe that implies consent? If so, why is that not so with Elliott's cut scene? It's one of the flaws of the game, not just of this specific character.

2 minutes to get 3 levels.. ive watched so many speed runs, this is the first one to make me feel good about my time as a casual player xD its nice seeing someone trying to hurry.. but not minmaxed to the point that you feel like you must suck cuz you can't get to level 100 in one day.

@@NinoKito ALSO there is a mod called fast animations that is incredible for normal play throughs, it makes pam’s bus faster, eating faster, weapon and tool speed faster, everything! you can adjust it to the exact speed you want in the mod options area of settings in game. of course this isn’t allowed for speed runs, but it’s VERY nice to use otherwise 😄
