Part of it might be that in the scene with Harvey you can actually see the farmer move into the j=kiss, but with Elliot it has the Farmer shaking. Also most people can swim, so pushing Elliot out of the boat won't work, but shoving Harvey will. I also suppose it might be the context in which occurs, because Harvey opens up through going on a very difficult balloon ride for him. Now, I did not really have a problem with Elliot's scene as if I was to do it with my character it would be romantic, but the reaction of the farmer in game between the two scenes probably throws people off. Sorry for the long read.

Being in sea would make it easier to leave yourself, while being in a hot air balloon makes it impossible to leave if you don't feel comfortable around Harvey. I think that the whole problem is just the fact that you can tell Elliot you don't feel okay with it, while I believe it doesn't ever happen with another candidate 🤔

I am a doctor IRL and that "more than a doctor and patient" line is extremely unsettling. You do NOT date your own patients, and if you do that means the doctor-patient relationship end immediately I assume the line supposed to be cute and romantic but it is absolutely against doctor's ethics. He should've said "more than friends" or something in that direction, leave his profession out of it altogether. Using your doctor status as a pickup line is pretty much the same as a teacher using their status to come on to a student, or a boss to their employee

Maybe it’s because my mom and her doctor have been high-key flirting for the past 20 years. He makes unprofessional comments about her body, and she’s even said that they’ve talked about dating several times in the past. She likes him, but I think he’s arrogant and chauvinistic. So, as sweet as Harvey is, having him mention the doctor-patient relationship really repulses me. To be fair, I guess a lot of people have doctor roleplay as a kink, so maybe the line is just for fan service.
Harvey is my second pick (only just slightly behind Shane). One of the things I love most about him is that, as opposed to literally every other bachelor, it feels like you’re marrying a sweet, responsible adult. Like, he’s a doctor, he’s mature, he’s not emo or pretentious, he doesn’t have any life destroying habits. He’s the most stable while still having this own faults and demons to fight.

Maybe it’s because my mom and her doctor have been high-key flirting for the past 20 years. He makes unprofessional comments about her body, and she’s even said that they’ve talked about dating several times in the past. She likes him, but I think he’s arrogant and chauvinistic.
So, as sweet as Harvey is, having him mention the doctor-patient relationship really repulses me. To be fair, I guess a lot of people have doctor roleplay as a kink, so maybe the line is just for fan service.
Harvey is my second pick (only just slightly behind Shane). One of the things I love most about him is that, as opposed to literally every other bachelor, it feels like you’re marrying a sweet, responsible adult. Like, he’s a doctor, he’s mature, he’s not emo or pretentious, he doesn’t have any life destroying habits. He’s the most stable while still having this own faults and demons to fight.

@@leticiamv for me personally it's because he's a character I can relate to as someone who suffers from depression- it kinda feels like we're going/working through it together yk? And on a not personal note I also just think the sprite where he's holding Charlie is super fun and when you marry him you get to see it pretty often lol. I can see why a lot of ppl wouldn't choose him but I can also see why people would at the same time
@@leticiamv everyone has this addiction to saying that the people who marry him are female "i want to fix him" uwu cutsie pushovers and its just a really tired point. he has a good and fleshed-out story, is very sweet once you pass 4 hearts with him, and before theres the thing of "well hes an asshole first" so is half the town. He's clearly struggling mentally which @ Atlass brought up in their comment which yea there are probably some "i can fix him" people out there but for a lot of others the idea that he would just get it when you're struggling is a comforting thought
