I'm still in London for MCM London Comic Con May 2019, but as is traditional for us on Saturday of Comic Con we headed out in to London first thing for a tour of our favourite comic book shops, Gosh Comics and Forbidden Planet, plus some jam shopping (?) at Fortnum & Mason. On the way to the event we ran in to Lucy who is also in London to see her favourite band, The Strokes, live for the first tome at All Points East in Victoria Park. After a great afternoon at a buzzing comic con, we met up with Alfie from Hashtag Superfans for a meal at Bodeans, the best BBQ restaurant in London, before meeting up with Lucy again to make sure she made it back to Kings Cross for the last train home. I know this is a long vlog, but as you can see from the description, it was an action packed day!

ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 17), Andy (age 14), Amy (age 12) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

Forbidden Planet is the absolute best place. I remember my first visit, I was disappointed thinking it was just the ground floor.. then I discovered the basement. Mind-blowing.

Was great seeing the neurodiversity panel at Comic-Con today. Would’ve loved to come and have a chat, but oh boy I reached my limit with the people got too stressed and I needed to leave 😂
I was a Sous Chef at Bodeans. 🦎 American food.. two guys who have been to Kentucky... Yankee corn bread... urgh! the other recipes are ok. Are you coming to London Comic-Con in Oct 2019.

Just took my daughter to see Lany and was greeting to a literally sobbing mess when she came out. I thought she had been harmed!!! Her friend just looked at me shaking her head and said "Its been like this for nearly two hours..."

Hi Kev saw you at comic con today thought your pannel was excellent and i hope it continues. Did have a question as a posh fan and a fm manager would you ever consider taking Andy to the footy or if you were a real football manager of the teams you play on fm how would you introduce Andy to it or would it be better not to take him at all due to the stress it may cause him.
