Its woodshavings from furniture stores, the same every other poultry farmer uses. We are currently in the dry season and period of low relative humidity, meaning that wood shavings is not easily soiled, compared to the rainy season. So for that reason we use wood shavings longer, than in the rainy season when, we get to change it twice every week. So the longer it is used due to the dry season, it breaks down to dust or what you see here from this video
What is your lighting strategy ? Are still giving them 24hrs of light Can Cobb 500 have this weight at 5weeks ? There is a video you showed how to measure the feed that you give the chicken, is that what you always follow
I plan for 247 light throughout their 6 weeks, except nights I soak the water pipeline Cobb's can this weight, but its easier to achieve it with Ross Its all planning, so I work with feed ration, so as not to exceed budget, within 6 weeks...
OK, those nights are nights we do routine nipple pipeline cleanings, but if you use the manual drinkers, you don't need to do such, since you already wash the drinkers ever day.
2.7kg at 5 weeks? This is very encouraging
I will start raising too very soon
Wishing you success in advance...
Thanks for all you do. God bless. Please what exactly do you use for your litter cause it doesn't look like wood shavings
