- On nights 22, 23, and 24, we camp on free BLM land in the Black Hills National Forest. Lots of rough roads equals very little human activity in this remote wilderness.

Your vids are awesome
Thanks friend!
Love the Jeremiah Johnson audio inserts. Rock on brother 🤘🏻
*keep your nose in the wind, and your eye along the skyline*
Watch your top knot! 😀
Saaweet. I had NO idea you were boondocking & camping this many days in a row. That's Fn awesome, brother!
Oh, it's about time you incorporate a Viking tune in one of your videos. Even though it's a cover..lol
What tune do you suggest my friend?
@@BackpackingwithBuckley Immigrant song ~ Led Zeppelin
Ahhh.....I am sad to report that I didn't connect the dots on that. 😀
@@BackpackingwithBuckley that'll get you about 20 lashes from the 9 tails. 🤨
Almost to 30! You going to a luxury hotel on day 31? 😊✌️
We went to a luxury Super 8 in Wisconsin! Not bad though considering there was hot showers! Thanks my friend!
I love my Hilltop packs Fanny Pack and other bags and pouches from them. May I ask what Drone you use to shoot those aerial video clips?
I use the DJI mini 2.
Love your videos.
What forest road are you boondocking on?
Thanks so much! It was Taylor Ranch Road, just north of Sheridan Lake.
Jeremiah Johnson is my most favorite movie of all time.
It's top 5 for me too dude! I grew up with that movie. No wonder we get along huh?
I thought it was weed.....lbvs.
Nice. Fun having a spouse that enjoys the outdoors/camping and stuff. We are lucky peeps..
We are certainly lucky! Experiences are better shared most of the time!
Wow we loved your pitch guys! Not surprised you lingered there for 3 nights with such a cool set up, even switching accommodations, why not!😊👍. Wish there were more places to boondock like this in the UK. Throughly entertaining video, we are looking forward to the next installment of your challenge!😊👍
Thanks friends! It was a fun adventure!
At 6:30, I love the sunset and the choice of music!
Thanks so much! Music means a lot to me!
Did I miss the link to where that is somehow ?🤪
It west of Rapid City off of Sheridan Lake Road. It's a minimum maintenance road area just north of Sheridan Lake.
all the Black Hills content is making me anxious for a trip out west.😁
It's beautiful out there. I'll have our hike video out soon!
Love the cool "covers" of classic tunes I grew up with in your videos.
Thanks bud! I like to find cool renditions!
Awsome camping you two, beautiful place.
Thanks fellas!
Awesome spot! That winter shelter fits two hammocks nicely. ✌️
It worked for us the entire trip!
Looks like some beautiful hiking! We are looking forward to exploring places like that! Nice sunset! Amazing adventure... Thanks for sharing! 💙Terry and Terri
Thanks friends! It was unforgettable and I hope to do something similar again
@@BackpackingwithBuckley You are vey welcome!
You guys should go thru-hike something. Seems like you have the gear, time and moxie. Seek adventure!
It's in the works. Hopefully this fall!
Another nice spot! Always love a beautiful sunset.
We explored a lot to find these spots. Really cool area!
Thanks for sharing Tim. Come back to the Black Hills soon!
Thanks Tammy!! We hope to return soon!
@@BackpackingwithBuckley This fall for Cloud Peak Wilderness!!
Be Happy! 😁🤙
Always Mitch!!
That scenery never gets old. Miss you good buddy. Can’t wait to see you and Blue again really soon 😁👍🏻
Miss you too man!!
What a perfect spot for your hammock and cozy with 2 together. The food looked also pretty good! 😁
We had a blast!
What time of year was this?
June
Forest as long as you can see, what a gorgeous place!
It truly is. Thanks for watching!
There was some sort if separation bar to use for separating hammocks. I haven't gotten one because right now I only have one hammock, but I am about to get a second one.
They look like they may work. Take care.
ENO makes them. Superior Gear has a method too using a third strap. I've found the ENO ones cause too much of a teeter totter effect. We were lucky to find good trios of trees to use and that's my favorite method personally.
Great spot! I’m down to explore some Boondockin spots for sure. Good stuff. Cheers.
It's way cool man!
Enjoyed The video Tim. Great boondocking spot. 👍😎
Thanks Tom! Hope you're doing well my friend!
That's really cool and interest site for camping brother.
Thanks bud!
Man you just can't beat watching a sunset. Sure looks beautiful and peaceful my man. You capurted some nice shots brother. I like the hat you are rocking as well, love those styles of hats!
Hey dude!! Good to see ya!
FIRST!
Always brother. . .🙃
@@BackpackingwithBuckley I keep hoping that people will race to watch my videos when they post...never happens...
Nice brother!
I feel the need for some time in the dirt here very soon. Thanks for the video
Thanks Mark! Hope you get out soon buddy!
I am planning on this weekend
Looks like you found a great spot!
It was incredible!
How does one dock a boon?
I can dock a boat.
Hey,... what IS a boon?
🤣🤣🤣
That pure white mountain goat ridge running was cool lol
Haha! It was indeed!
Excellent! Almost to your goal my friend! Bet that was awesome to sleep under the stars with the fly off the top of the tent. Stay weird my friend!
It was actually insane condensation that night. The mesh collected so much moisture that it soaked our quilts. Quite the unexplainable event.
@@BackpackingwithBuckley Yuck! No one wants to wake up with a wet sack...the condensation tends to happen when you pitch your tent and camp on grassy areas.
ohhh farts hahahah
Always farts!
