Stevie is awesome, Rhiannon, Don’t stop (thinking about Tomorrow), Go your own way all awesome songs! I was 10 when Rumours came out, always LOVED Fleetwood Mac
last year Stevie became the first woman to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame twice when she got in as a solo artist...can't wait for Edge Of Seventeen!!
Rumours is one of the all-time greatest albums. Literally not a bad song on it. Me and every guy I went to high school with had a mad crush on Stevie Nicks.
hungfao There were two couples breaking up in Fleetwood Mac. So just about every song was about the break ups. It made the band extremely creative. There is great documentary about it but I don’t recall the name. It gives a great insight into both relationship breakdowns and how they impacted the bands creativity
Not such a tragic story. It was about her friend Sara that dated (or cheated with) Mick Fleetwood, officially ending their relationship (Nicks/Fleetwood)
It always makes me cry, I know it's about her friend but my mother's name was Sarah. She passed 7 years ago and this song always makes me feel like she is with me.
Stevie's voice is pure magic. This album stands out because it represents a very complex dynamic between the two couples who made up the band. There were loves, betrayals, grudges, intrigue... all the elements of great songwriting! Great reaction-- love your videos! I appreciate all you do here :)
One of the hottest selling albums of all time. Everything is a classic. Yeah, Stevie has a big voice and a pretty decent range. All the vocals complement each other. Can't go wrong with Fleetwood Mac.
Stevie Nicks is my all time great female vocalist. Her work with Fleetwood Mac (Go Your Own Way) and her solo career (Beauty And The Beast) are filled with Gems!
Stevie Nicks is the singer, and most widely known as the front lady. BUT Lindsay Buckingham and Christine McVie also sang lead on some songs. To hear Christine, try "Tell Me Lies", "Songbird", "Over My Head", or "Say That You Love Me". To hear Lindsay Buckingham, try "Big Love", or "Go Your Own Way". To hear them both share lead, try "Don't Stop". Have a great evening.
This song reminds me of my grandmother, who is no longer here. . . She died when I was very little, but Fleetwood Mac always makes me feel her, so to say. Truly a good rock band!
I think the record labels believe they have figured out what people want to hear and only look for artists who sound like that style. Where as back in the day they looked for artists who didn't sound like anyone else
Unlike today, most of if not all back then. Played their own instruments and composed their own songs. Many of them doing both ! Not the garbage that passes for so called music and entertainment today !
Since the Cranberry juice, skateboard TicToks Rumors is back at the top of the charts....Stevie Nicks, Nick Fleetwood and Lindsay Buckingham all made Tic Toks!!
Stevie did an AWESOME duet with Tom Petty "Stop draggin' my heart around" and she did another great duet with Don Henley "Leather and Lace" I highly recommend both of them :))
Queen Stevie is/was supernatural, gorgeous, witchy-and her fabulous hair! Her clothes were beautiful, hippie boho chic-top hats, piano shawls, handkerchief hems, platforms. Most of us wanted to be Stevie. Her songwriting-I mean, check out her lyrics on Sara and the way she sings them, “...he was singing, and undoing, and undoing the laces, undoing the laces...” So sexy. Or on Gypsy, “She is dancing away from you now, she was just a wish, she was just a wish...” And although Stevie was the beauty (so was Lindsay Buckingham lol), there would be no Fleetwood Mac without Christine McVie. She sings and plays magnificently. Songbird featuring her lyrics and vocals is just exquisite-please listen to it. You can’t go wrong with most of their music. Hypnotized is another lovely, dreamy song you should hear-it’s often overlooked and was before Stevie and Lindsay joined the band.
Next you should check out "Landslide" and "Little Lies." Also "Leather and Lace" with Stevie Nicks and Don Henley and "Whenever I Call You Friend" with Stevie Nicks and Kenny Loggins.
Can't stay still when this is playing. They were amazing and listened to by all age groups. My daughter was a teenager and she wanted the LP and I listened to even when she wasn't home
If someone said to me, "you can only listen to one more song before you leave this earth," this would be the one I choose. Timeless, emotional, ethereal, smooth,........it is my favourite song of all time.
There is SO much to unpack about this group. Do some deep diving into their history. They changed names and members over the years, but this particular group stayed together and produced the most together. Several of them have also worked in sessions and as solo artists. If you enjoy Stevie's voice, I will tell you to check out her with another artist I know you love...Don Henley of the Eagles. They recorded a song called Leather & Lace and it is phenomenal. But each member of this group has their own genius. Mick Fleetwood on drums, John McVie on bass, Lindsay Buckingham on lead guitar and vocals, Stevie and Christine on vocals and Christine McVie on keyboards (Tango In The Night exhibited much more of her). My son came to me about the time you were discovering them and asked me "Why did you never tell me about Fleetwood Mac!?!" I did, he just wasn't paying attention. Now he listens to them constantly. I went through my divorce when the group came back together to release The Dance. The video of the concert is phenomenal and I recommend it! Also...Lindsay Buckingham has since left the group, but has been replaced by the amazing Neil Finn of Crowded House. Genius for Genius!
Ms.Stevie 💜🎩🎤🎸🎶 Unique Voice , Beautiful Lady " fine " 😊 Fleetwood Mac brought me up to a higher level in my teens no matter what they played. They never let you down . " Chicag😎"
This is one of my all time favourite songs. It'ss been a part of my life when I'm happy, sad, nostalgic, karaoke-ing etc. Why? When we first moved to Canada, it was to a small town in the 70s. My mum had a beat up old car and we would drive through the countryside to other towns for special occassions for icecream or some other small, inexpensive outing. All the music I heard ion the radio on those trips imprinted onto my brain I guess and I memoorised them all without knowing I did. So, Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Boney M, Simon & Garfunkle, The Carpenters, The Stylistics, Bee Gees (disco and non-disco), Supertramp, Neil Diamond etc... half of what you're covering on your channel. These songs have stayed with me through all my musical periods: New Wave Goth, House, Deep House, Techno, Mininal.
Her name is Stevie Nicks. And if you can get the permissions try out "Beautiful Child" and "Tusk" Mick Fleetwood is one of the most amazing amazing percussionist we have the pleasure to listen to. 😉
I was a preteen when this came out. Like you said, I love to close my eyes and listen to this. When I do it, this song brings me back that part of my life and it also brings back those feelings growing up in that time period.
Her name is Stevie Nicks. She’s the lead singer for Fleetwood Mac. My dad and I often hear Fleetwood Mac on classic rock radio. For Christmas 2019, I got my dad a documentary on how Fleetwood Mac made their most popular album Rumours on DVD. We watched it together and it was a great movie.
You're right, there is no band like them! Stevie's voice is an experience. Great story about the band and their lives that plays out till this day! Watch "The Dance" You will watch it again and again and again and.......
Fleetwood Mac was one of the super groups of the 70s and 80s, and for good reason. They also had not one, but two great female lead singers. Stevie Nicks, singing this great song, and Christine McVie. Check out "Sentimental Lady" and "Spare Me a Little". Once they found their groove, they were unstoppable.
Loved your reaction!😊 Stevie Nicks wrote this song about the guitarist Lindsey Buckingham after they broke up while making the Rumours album. One of the best selling albums of all time. All the songs are real of what the band was going through during that time as the bass player John McVie and Christine McVie were going through a divorce and drummer Mick Fleetwood was also. Crazy how they kept it together to produce amazing music AND PLAY on stage together for the next 40yrs singing these to eachother. Lindsey created the music around Stevies poems. Lindsey wrote and sings Go your own Way to her Stevie. I am 48 yr old female. Loved this band since i was 8 yrs old. The story of this band is fascinating. Should watch a doc on them. Intriguing to say the least. Fleetwood Mac is my all time fav band. Stevie is a legend😉 So is Lindsey really. Should check out Stevie Nicks video Edge of Seventeen....when she did a solo album on the side while still in Fleetwood Mac. Great song.
Stevie Nicks has one of the most beautiful voices ever. Try"stop dragging my heart around" by her and Tom Petty and"leather and lace" by her and Don Henley.☮️
They're way way before my time, and I don't listen to a lot of "classic rock," but Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite bands ever. I love this song so much.
I can taste certain songs. This is one of them. It must be a memory from childhood. I was probably eating something when I first heard this song. It's amazing.
For someone who always starts with, "This is your BOY, Javon," you sure give some MAN-sized song reviews on this channel. Good work! It's obvious how much you really like great music!
Mr. Buckingham's guitar is unmistakable, it's the band's signature sound. In "Isn't it midnight". In the song "Isn't it midnight" he displays his talent on the guitar riff 👌🎸⭐
Check out: 1. The Romantics 2. Until Tuesday 3. Robert Palmer 4. Hall and Oats. All are banging groups from the late 80's punk rock bands and MTV superstars...first on MTV when videos were being launch as a source of music views..
rhiannon and landslide from the first album with the new line up which is just called Fleetwood Mac (1975) was the first time i heard Stevie Nicks singing then i seen her and instantly had a massive crush on her. Yes i am that old and fortunate enough to have seen them live 12 times and each time they were incredible.I have the original vinyl of all their albums in my record collection Music is timeless and it is a mistake to get stuck in only liking a certain genre i like all music from classical to punk rock, music is food for the soul.
Mike Oldfield is another great band, try Moonlight Shadow I love it. As for Fleetwood Mac, they are a great band and Stevie Nicks voice is so clear and absolutely gorgeous. I had this album and wore it out I played it so much but I loved it and it was wonderful to listen to in the evening when I was able to relax. Once again your reactions are wonderful to watch and listen to, I love how you are so open minded about music, its a great treat to be a subscriber on your channel sweetheart. Take care and stay safe please everyone love hugs and peace to you all Mary-Ellen UK
Agreed, Christine's "ooo" leading into the choruses, and the organ chords she plays during the choruses give me chills. In my opinion, Christine's contributions are what makes this song a hit.
I have this song in a playlist I’ve titled “flawless perfection”... there are no wasted notes, nothing could be added or taken away without diminishing the song.
I couldn't agree more with you man, it's like, it doesn't matter where you are, ya put the headphones on and start to listen FM, you just FLYYYYYY AWAY MAN!!
I was 3 when the Rumours album was released and in the years to follow I distinctly remember digging into mum's album collection to play it over and over and over again.
Fleetwood Mac is truly the sum of its parts. Each artist brings his/her own talent to it, and the result is magic - Christine and Stevie’s writing ability, Mick’s drumming, John’s base, Lindsey’s guitar playing, Stevie’s one-of-a-kind voice, and, maybe, above all, Lindsey’s ability to take an ordinary song and know how to make it into an extraordinary one. I think you’d like “Rhiannon”, “Landslide”, and ,for a complete change of pace, “You Make Lovin’ Fun.” Also, check out Stevie’s solo albums. “Edge of Seventeen” and “Stand Back” are great. P.S. Have you done any Bob Seger yet? He’s amazing and has a raspy voice like Stevie. (Sorry for being so long!)
Finally unblocked I also didn't know stevie nicks was the one singing edge of seventeen reaction coming soon
JayveeTV 🕺🏽💃🏼
She actually has more songs from her solo career than she recorded with Fleetwood Mac.
Like your channel a lot! Love that your real about it all and look at it with open eyes and ears. I have a gift to you that will change your world in music and I hope it does ... do a video on the following ... even if you do t do a video 100% check them out you will be blown away!!!

Rumours is one of the all-time greatest albums. Literally not a bad song on it. Me and every guy I went to high school with had a mad crush on Stevie Nicks.
Hahahaha yeah me too. When Rock a little came out I was waiting at the shop to grab that CD.
Didn't they win a Grammy award for that album?
Dude im 28 and i thought she was fine. My Gramps use to talk about her to lol
... and I have to throw in that us girl's had a huge crush on Lindsey Buckingham, lol ;)
Want to feel old, Peeps ?
Stevie Nicks just had a Birthday on May 26, 2020 ...
She turned
*72* years old !!
This and Buckingham's 'Go Your Own Way' are like the listening to the couple breaking up and they put their grievances toward each other in song.
hungfao There were two couples breaking up in Fleetwood Mac. So just about every song was about the break ups. It made the band extremely creative. There is great documentary about it but I don’t recall the name. It gives a great insight into both relationship breakdowns and how they impacted the bands creativity
Love their song “Sara” as well - such a beautiful song with a tragic backstory.
One of my favorites songs!!
Not such a tragic story. It was about her friend Sara that dated (or cheated with) Mick Fleetwood, officially ending their relationship (Nicks/Fleetwood)
Chris Cook oh okay - maybe I mixed up the story then with another song. Thanks though! :)
Mick Fleetwood was also breaking up with his wife, Jenny Boyd, sister of Patti Boyd who married Beatle George Harrison and Eric Clapton.
Not just relationships, drug addiction too. (Gold Dust Woman)
One of the hottest selling albums of all time. Everything is a classic. Yeah, Stevie has a big voice and a pretty decent range. All the vocals complement each other. Can't go wrong with Fleetwood Mac.
Shelter if FM didn’t have SN and LB, there wouldn’t be a FM!
Shelter glad you spelled complement right 🙂 most peeps wouldn’t
"Gold Dust Woman," gives her true distinct voice. Great song.
Stevie Nicks is my all time great female vocalist. Her work with Fleetwood Mac (Go Your Own Way) and her solo career (Beauty And The Beast) are filled with Gems!
Stevie's voice comes right out of a fairy tale. I doubt there will ever be another who sounds like her.
You can't imagine how big this album was. Inescapable for a couple of years.
Stevie has the most haunting voice in rock. Her tunes with Mac and her solo material is dynamite.
Go your own way is another great song from this album
Agreed, love that one!
This Album is pure 70s magic. I'm only 18 years old and I think that's where music peaked for me. One of my favourites!
Stevie Nicks has one of the best voices in the business. Old or new music it's hard to beat her soulful voice.
Love her voice!
"Don't stop" "you make loving fun", just a couple of Fleetwood Mac classics.
Clinton's Campaign song
Stevie Nicks is the singer, and most widely known as the front lady. BUT Lindsay Buckingham and Christine McVie also sang lead on some songs.
To hear Christine, try "Tell Me Lies", "Songbird", "Over My Head", or "Say That You Love Me".
To hear Lindsay Buckingham, try "Big Love", or "Go Your Own Way".
To hear them both share lead, try "Don't Stop".
Have a great evening.
They just have such a clean, smooth, and unique sound. And Stevie Nicks is an absolute babe.
70’s. Climax Blues Band- I Love You and their other hit - Couldn’t Get Right. Oldies but goodies.
This song reminds me of my grandmother, who is no longer here. . . She died when I was very little, but Fleetwood Mac always makes me feel her, so to say.
Truly a good rock band!
That's the thing about bands from that era. Everyone had their own unique style and sound. Top 40 today all sounds the same.
Exactly right.
I think the record labels believe they have figured out what people want to hear and only look for artists who sound like that style. Where as back in the day they looked for artists who didn't sound like anyone else
You do know that, in the 1960s and 1970s, older people (who were probably only in their 30s) said the same ie "These songs all sound the same!"?
Unlike today, most of if not all back then. Played their own instruments and composed their own songs. Many of them doing both ! Not the garbage that passes for so called music and entertainment today !
Ironically this song charted in the top 40 last year
This song makes me cry the moment it starts it's like it's singing your soul oh my 53yr old man tears in my eye's what a voice
Don't forget Whenever I Call You Friend with Kenny Loggins.
Stevie & Tom - maybe the best duet by any duo ever
I agree, it is the best duet I've ever heard. Some have come close but none have topped it yet!
"Magnet and Steel" was a nice track, too .. Walter Egan and Stevie Nicks !
Stevie is a Queen
Gypsy, Rhiannon and Sara are also great. You can’t go wrong with Fleetwood Mac!
She's Stevie Nicks. One of the songs I do most adore, one of my favorites. And live is fabulous
I was 12 when I got to go to my first concert, Fleetwood Mac! I've been in love ever since. A long time!!!
'go your own way'.....always reminds me of forrest gump😀👍 beautiful song, beautiful film
Queen Stevie is/was supernatural, gorgeous, witchy-and her fabulous hair! Her clothes were beautiful, hippie boho chic-top hats, piano shawls, handkerchief hems, platforms. I bought that album the first day it hit the shelves... and still have it today. Absolutely a pleasure to listen to today.
Saw them in concert in Winnipeg last year for our birthday with my 18 year old daughter she loves them too! Great concert!🎵🎵🎵🎵
Stevie Nicks was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! That made history!! & she certainly deserved it. I love hearing your comments! Thank you!
Wow. I forgot. She is an amazing singer and it always seems like she is weeping.
Stevie Nicks. One of the most instantly recognisable voices in the history of music.
This song is Epic. Timeless groove. They're different, special. My wife's fave song, btw. Stevie N is badass!
Played this album constantly when it was first released. Every track is a classic!
I'm not so keen on OH Daddy, but love Goldust Woman.
Next you should check out "Landslide" and "Little Lies." Also "Leather and Lace" with Stevie Nicks and Don Henley and "Whenever I Call You Friend" with Stevie Nicks and Kenny Loggins.
Gold Dust Woman
anlso Stop Dragging My Heart Around with Tom Petty and Gold with John Stewart.
Some great songs mentioned!
Leather and lace is one of the best songs ever
Can't stay still when this is playing. They were amazing and listened to by all age groups. My daughter was a teenager and she wanted the LP and I listened to even when she wasn't home
A few days ago I added “I Don’t Want to Know” and “Secondhand Blues” to my workout playlist. Keeps me moving.
Yup! I’m 39 and I have a 14 year old son and 11 year old twin girls. We are all huge fans, along with my husband. Their music is so timeless.
Will always love this woman! Her music is timeless. 💜❤😊😊
I hear this song 5-7 times a week on local Chicago radio...classic!!!
If someone said to me, "you can only listen to one more song before you leave this earth," this would be the one I choose. Timeless, emotional, ethereal, smooth,........it is my favourite song of all time.
Fleetwood Mac’s music is the soundtrack to my high school years. Great memories.
One my favorite songs of all tiime, number one for six weeks, and deservedly so
There is SO much to unpack about this group. Do some deep diving into their history. This is one of my all time favourite songs. It'ss been a part of my life when I'm happy, sad, nostalgic, karaoke-ing etc.

Also a few great solo albums. Edge of seventeen and leather and lace.
Tusk is also amazing
Tusk is magic..love that song....
Brown eyes...
Fleetwood Mac is one of the greatest bands of all times with a phenomenal drummer.
You shared your top 10 list... well this is my #1 band. 👍🏼 Little Lies is my jam.
Go your own way is so nice to. She has such a lovely voice. Get you Jay so in to it quite right to great reaction 😊💖
One of my favorite groups!! Love their music!!! ❤❤❤❤
Great musicianship, great vocals, great engineering. Great live!just fucking great.
Lol
My first ever favorite song when i found it on one of my parents cds... used to dance to it in the kitchen when i was alone
Gold Dust Woman is another great one! It's her voice but also the harmonies with the others!
You're right, there is no band like them! Stevie's voice is an experience. Great story about the band and their lives that plays out till this day! Watch "The Dance"
You will watch it again and again and again and.......
Female rock singers are the best IMHO. Underrated rythym section established that smooth cool groove on every track
This is a classic album. I've bought so many copies over the years as I just wear them out! Testament to its appeal.
They are just so damn good, plain and simply.....
Such a chill vibing song. Even better when you're relaxing with some of that good good 🤘
Loved your reaction!😊 Stevie Nicks wrote this song about the guitarist Lindsey Buckingham after they broke up while making the Rumours album. Should check out Stevie Nicks video Edge of Seventeen....when she did a solo album on the side while still in Fleetwood Mac. Great song.
This was THE album in the day....wore my copy out.
Stevie is gold! Her voice is magic!
Really just magic👍😉
You are right ... This is music from the soul !!
Fleetwood Mac ..go your own way ...you will love it !!!
One of the greatest groups in music history!!!!
I didn't know to appreciate it at the time, but all these great 70's songs were the background music of my childhood.
This band is at the very top of my favorites list. They put out hit after hit and changed their sound multiple times throughout their run. Love them!
The whole Rumors album is smooth. Good traveling music. One of my favorites is Never Going Back Again. So good!
I can taste certain songs. This is one of them. It must be a memory from childhood. I was probably eating something when I first heard this song. It's amazing.
For someone who always starts with, "This is your BOY, Javon," you sure give some MAN-sized song reviews on this channel. Good work! It's obvious how much you really like great music!
my top 5 band of all time... they have a nostalgic feel that is rare
Mr. Buckingham's guitar is unmistakable, it's the band's signature sound. In "Isn't it midnight".
In the song "Isn't it midnight" he displays his talent on the guitar riff 👌🎸⭐
Thank you for reacting to them, I saw them in concert and wow!
Check out: 1. The Romantics 2. Until Tuesday 3. Robert Palmer 4. Hall and Oats. All are banging groups from the late 80's punk rock bands and MTV superstars...first on MTV when videos were being launch as a source of music views..
since 1977 when this song came out i have heard DREAMS maybe a thousand times. i always feel like i need to listen. always.
rhiannon and landslide from the first album with the new line up which is just called Fleetwood Mac (1975) was the first time i heard Stevie Nicks singing then i seen her and instantly had a massive crush on her.
Yes i am that old and fortunate enough to have seen them live 12 times and each time they were incredible.I have the original vinyl of all their albums in my record collection
Music is timeless and it is a mistake to get stuck in only liking a certain genre i like all music from classical to punk rock, music is food for the soul.
SongBird (Featuring Christine McVey) and Landslide (Featuring Stevie Nicks) are 2 more incredible songs by Mac.
"GYPSY" is my favorite!
"Gypsy road" by Cinderella comes to mind...
Three great singers in this band.
Need me some cranberry juice 😀
So many good songs.
DREAMS is sooo smooth .... and soulful. I love Fleetwood Mac because of Stevie Nicks. To me Stevie Nicks IS Fleetwood Mac.
While I love Stevie's voice, Christine Mcvie's vioice is pure as the wind.
Yes. Please don't forget about Christine
Oh yeah, no lies there!
Christine had to bad luck to be in the same band as Stevie Nicks, and was overshadowed. In any other band she'd be as famous as Stevie.
I really do have to agree with you and it's so sad she doesn't get props for her part in the band.
Agreed, Christine's "ooo" leading into the choruses, and the organ chords she plays during the choruses give me chills. In my opinion, Christine's contributions are what makes this song a hit.
Voice of an Angel. I literally get chills listening to her sing. Such a legend. 💓
Another one with Stevie Nicks is "Landslide"....it's fantastic!!
Try Fleetwood Mac during the Peter green era.. cool blues music.
Stevie Nicks ...such an unusual ,great voice
Monday Morning, Second Hand News, Go Your Own Way, You Make Loving Fun, Gypsy, Seven Wonders, Everywhere. Really can’t go wrong with Fleetwood Mac.
I have this song in a playlist I’ve titled “flawless perfection”... there are no wasted notes, nothing could be added or taken away without diminishing the song.
All these decades later, and that voice still has me under its spell. The entire album is impeccable.
