Hiking 9 Miles on the ARCHDUKE'S TRAIL | A 300 Year Old Trail | Mallorca Island, Spain

- Join me on a stunning circular walk along the Archduke’s Trail (Camí de s’Arxiduc) from Valldemossa that I completed back in May this year!
The Archduke's Trail is a high-mountain trail in the Tramuntana mountains between Valldemossa and Deià. I reached the trail via the Muntanya del Voltor ascent route, starting in Valldemossa (free permit needed) & the 700m of ascent were worth it for the stunning views of the mountainous coastline from the ridge!

Thanks for continuing to tag along on my adventures Nicola 🫶🏻 I’d never been to Mallorca for hiking before and can’t recommend it enough as a good option outside of the summer months - the GR221 is a great way marked trail that crosses the entire island 👍🏻⛰️

thanks for the video!It is very nice to hike so close to the sea in the mountains.I looked at our pictures from 2018, we were more inland. We had rented a Finka 🇪🇸 and from there we cycled 🚴🏻♀🚴🏻 and went on a hike. We absolutely have to go to Mallorca again, but next year we want to go first to 🇬🇧😊

@@shefreelyroams Yup! I'm off to Snowdonia tomorrow for some wild camping and scrambling for my YT channel and I thought my bag was heavier than usual - it's all the extra waterproofs and layers in there ;-). Fingers crossed for a weather window!

Hello, I have never been on the isle of Mallorca, but on Eivissa, one of the other popular smaller islands. However, I 'd like to visit during springtime when all the flowers are in bloom.
