I get an error message on opening "This database was created with the 32-bitversion of Microsoft Access. Please open it with a 32-bit versionof Microsoft Access"...... but I no longer have the 32-bit Access, only 64-bit. What can I do please? The file is .accdb.

You concentrate on minor details, but i was waiting for more guidance ...like take a 32 bit version and convert it to 64. You will see so many error messages. How to deal with that?

I just need to temporarily access a 32 bit database.. can I just open it in an old version of Access? Do I need to use a 32 OS while doing this?

Thanks for your comment! We don't recommend running both 32 and 64 together on the same machine. Please like and subscribe if you liked the video!

I have an impression that microsoft ms access team did not do the job right. They did not creat a mapping document. They are doing their transition to 64 bit poorly and unprofessional. What a shame! Jumping from version to version is not always for better.
