  • We will learn how to troubleshoot slow Access forms / reports with a remote SQL Server backend by using the ODBC SQL to collect the actual queries Access is sending to SQL Server and review those queries to identify the culprit for poor performance. We will also cover some optimization strategies to help improve the responsiveness of the forms.
Please be advised that our speaker, Ben Clothier, multiple years Access MVP, is deaf so what you hear is just an interpreter. Thank you for understanding.

Sasa, an interpreter is speaking because the presenter, who is one of the most brilliant Access developers on the planet, is deaf. Please look past that and benefit from the content. Not many are knowledgeable enough to show us how to use advanced troubleshooting techniques such as this.

That's correct Sasa, it may be from time to time an absolute torture for ears and mind. BUT an interpreter is speaking because the presenter, Ben Clothier (who is one of the most brilliant Access developers on the planet), is deaf. Maybe now it would be a good time to apologize?

@@AccessUserGroups I didn't have a clue about health problems of our presenter, so therefore my critics does not apply to the presenter. My apologize goes for my ignorance but not for overall impression of the clip. Also, I absolute adore Ms Access and AccessUserGroups.org, but sometime really sound like kids talking. Please lose : 'haaaa', 'hammmmm', 'aaaaaaa' between every second word. This is my friendly suggestion not insult of any kind.
