Wade has great midrange shot. Wade also has very high efficiency rate and huge part of it was that he had great midrange jump shots. His career average in fg% is .480 while Kobe's is .447. Wade had very good midrange shot, only thing was that he was horrible at 3 point shooting but in terms of slashing and midrange he was superb. To me Wade's game is lot like MJ than Kobe but MJ is just a much better version of Wade plus MJ was not weak in 3 point shooting, not to mention injuries. To me Kobe is more different from MJ because he has different repertoire of skills and I feel he is more skillful than MJ because of his so many varieties of skills. However with MJ, physical aspect was a huge part of his game just like it was for Wade.@@jonthomson9262

Truth be told I never saw much of Drexler play so I can't judge him much. However from what little I saw and his height, he seemed to take more of his height advantage to take shots and go to the rim. Wade on the other hand would slash more and use more skills. He would ziz zag through. Wade could not play post like Drexler because of his height.@@ktapreswreckd921v9

DWade was an extremely good and entertaining 'combo guard'. Yeah he was a shooting guard but as said and known he also could play some point guard. His driving, dunks and layups and midrange were all time great. Dropping 30/5/7 at the end of 2000s when there still was defense and contact allowed was something somewhat legendary. An all time great regular season for sure.
DWade is definitely the 3rd greatest player of his position of all time. After him I would mention names like Jerry West and Clyde Drexler.

@@brettreynolds1976 I personally consider West to be more of a 'pg combo guard' but he was listed and shown as a sg in this video so I ran with it in this case.
I would never put Harden above Drexler because post season does matter and defense matters aswell. With Gervin you might be quite right though as he won the scoring title 4 times and shot above 50 % numerous times. Iverson is a difficult case aswell, he was a MVP and went to the finals once while Drexler was 2nd in MVP once(lost against MJ in '92) and reached the finals 3 times(twice with Portland and lost, once with Houston and won).

Wade had flashes of GOAT tier level SG. But yes injuries and playing 2nd fiddle wisely to Lebron simmered down the GOAT status.
I do believe the refs gave way too many calls to Wade in the 06 Finals. But he was the aggressor and forced some of those calls.
Regardless, I’d take Wade over Harden any day. He has heart. Played D like superstar should. He may not have an MVP but 3 chips, 1 FMVP is way better than any dribble dribble dribble step back three.

If you don't believe his comp was tougher, look at the MVP winners in that stretch. Other than himself, Karl Malone, Shaq, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and the year Shaq was snubbed in favor of Nash. Some argue Kobe. Between Shaq, Kobe, and Duncan you have 3 consensus top 10 players of ALL TIME. IN THEIR PRIMES. And again, Iverson got an award against them. Wade in his prime was behind Chris Paul for MVP? Dude, cmon, he's not fkn with AI. Then we got this defense revisionist history. It goes from AI wasnt a great defender (true statement) to Ai wasnt a good defender (slight exaggeration) to Ai was a BAD defender (LIE) to AI was a defensive liability (EGREGIOUS LIE) He finished ahead of Kobe in DPOY voting in 2001, 2003, and 2005. I DO NOT CARE THAT THE MEDIA SNUBBED HIM, especially in 2003, from being on an All -Defense team. I can look at tangible stats, career defensive rating which is actually identical to Kobe's, eye-test, steals titles and deduce that an undersized guard who was not GREAT on-ball compensated by being an ALL TIME GREAT passing lane disrupter and pick pocketer, as well as putting up legendary EFFORT on defense, despite his ineffectiveness due solely to factors outside of human control. Oh what about efficiency? You mean Wade's 29% from 3P range? What about forming a weak SUPER TEAM with LeBron who seems to be the only one who gets criticism for it. I used to LOVE Wade but I will NEVER FORGIVE HIM for 2011 teaming up with Bron. And also, if you're that great, you don't need LeBron to beat an aging Mavs team in 2011. AI with Chris Bosh and that Heat squad is not blowing a 2-0 lead in the Finals. Wade never even had a dominate playoff-run between Shaq's departure and the Big 3 formation. AI CLEARS WADE and it's not even close I HATE ALL OF THIS TALK!!!

People sleeping on Wade's layup package are trippin he literally had a top 10 for the year and almost all his finishes were crazy layups contact and all wade was a menace at the rim
