something i thought of while watching your video..I have tried all different colors of pans and green is by far my favorite....I find a black colored pan is almost impossible when you have a bunch of black sand..
Quick tip- Put a little jet dry in your snuffer bottle, then when you fill it up/squeeze water out, it will introduce some into the pan. It might not last too long (lots of pans), but if you're packing light it helps! Great video!
ever tried to put a shaker on a bucket, filling it up with dirt and water and letting it shake for a minute or two, then take of 9/10 of the upper soil and processing the lowest layer?
Sounds like it would work, but would also be a lot of work trying to stratify an entire 5 gallon bucket. It's faster and easier to just fill up the super sluice gold pan 2 -3 times. I appreciate your input and thanks for watching!

You should try some prospecting on the Arkansas river, a couple miles above Buena Vista,Co. I mined there for 6 years with pan,sluice and 4" dredge.35 colors per pan is very common.Just a thought. GL&HH Eric

If you dug down further to bed rock would you get more? It didn't look like you made it that far down. I was looking at the other hole that was already dug and just go deeper. I'm no expert I rely on you for that. Heck bed rock could be 10 ft. down. It seemed you were getting more gold the further you dug.
Hey Don thanks for the comment. Technically the best gold is down at bedrock, but that's at an average of 15' below where I stand so that's impossible without some machinery. Just upstream about 30 yards I watched heavy machinery dig down to replace bridge pylons further than 15' so the bedrock is most likely even further down.

I would be glad to help you in the right direction. I have a boatload of diamond prospecting locations but most of the best ones require a little time investment to drive to. Keep an eye out for pegmatites and/or float gems when you're out in the forest. Check any areas that have been burned out by forest fires as that helps clear out a lot of organics so you can get a better view of the underlying rock. I love hearing your confidence when you see and call out garnets now as you can tell you really have a good idea of exactly what you are seeing. Take it easy my friend.

KleshGuitars I wish to get into gold panning here should I? Or would it just be fruitless. I figured maybe because pa is known for their coal and iron mining industries and they had side products of gold. But im not sure I'd there would be any in a local Creek or river.
you should sell of give a pan full of unsearched material so it'd be like they're panning with you but in a different part of the country or the world.. I think it'd be a cool experience.. you search through 10 pan and then another person who purchases it searches through 10 pan..
I do give most of my gold away on live streams over on my other channel KleshGuitars TV so I can't weight it up or show you, but if you went through all my videos and added up the totals, that should give you a pretty good idea of how much.

I really didn't bring any jet dry with me. Doesn't make a huge difference when running this large amount though.

Try making the water go up the sides at the same time and meet in the middle . A little practice and you will be amazed how much better it is
